It's so quiet!

Finally! A New Dishwasher!

We replaced our old dishwasher a few days ago with a new GE. A couple of the features that I am very happy with include the water jets below the silverware basket, the bottle jets in the top rack, the dry boost, and the ability to fold tines down in both the top and bottom racks. We chose not to add the optional 3rd row utensil rack as that is not something that is important to us. So far, my only negatives/suggestions for improvements are that even with the top rack adjusted as high as possible, I don't have as much height in the bottom rack as I am used to for cookie sheets and sheet pans. Also, I am not a fan of the fold-down stemware gizmos on the upper rack. They work great when you are using them, but they are a little bulky when folded up and kind of interfere with loading. We love the cycle indicator on the front of the dishwasher, but wish it included time remaining in the cycle like our old dishwasher had. Otherwise, the dishwasher washes great, and it is very quiet. In comparison to all the other models I looked at prior to purchasing this one, I am very satisfied and would buy this one again in a heartbeat!

Great Retrofit

We replaced all of our 20 plus year old Profile GE appliances with new GE Profile appliances. Great GE products with latest upgrades and of the same demensions requiring no structural changes.

Outstanding new GE dishwasher

Our new GE Profile dishwasher is the best one we have owned (and we have had many). It is so quiet, we have to check the control panel to remind us that it is running. It cleans everything exceptionally well, and its design and features are more than first class.

Poor Design

We purchased a new home with this dishwasher installed. The design (particularly when sliding out the bottom tray) is poor. I have owned dishwashers 20 years ago with better design than this unit. Don't purchase!
