Great features

We love our new dishwasher. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because there isn’t a good spot for bowls (ex: cereal or salad). Which is disappointing. Overall I love the bottle jets and the jets under the silverware tray. It cleans most stuck on foods (we still rinse most of our dishes out of habit before putting them in though). Great purchase overall and would buy again.

Great overall but not really smart

It does the job. The dishes are clean. Love the bottle jets.
There are drawbacks. The first is the panel, I always touch it accidentally and it messes up the settings. The second one is the color. I’ve got the appliance to replace an old (dead) GE Profile dishwasher, I think early 2000 and the rest of my kitchen appliances are also GE Profile series from that period of time. And the color is significantly different! That’s disappointing.
The last drawback is SmartHQ features. The only feature is to check the status?! Really?! I was thinking it’s reasonable to have at least remote start. Like when you say “Alexa, good night” it also starts the dishwasher cycle. But you cannot do that and I think I just spent extra money on the really lame feature
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful product

The product features are excellent. It also is very quiet when running and you really do NOT have to clean and rinse dishes before they go in the machine. It does a great job from start to finish!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad pump

Just purchased our dishwasher. It ran on our inspection of our new home. When we put dishes in it, it would not run! Turns out our brand new dishwasher has a bad pump and was leaking water underneath it! It has only been run three times!! Instead of fixing our brand new dishwasher I believe we should receive a new one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am so happy to have this GE dishwasher! I used to have all GE Profile at my old house and they were and are the best appliances I ever owned! This machine is so quiet I don’t even know it’s running!
