[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new whirlpool electric range. Especially the stainless steel body. It is so much easier to take care of. Not only did I buy the Range , I got the microwave. And the dishwasher and the Refrigerator . They look amazing in my kitchen. We usually get a different make . This time we decided to check out Whirlpool and was very impressed. I know it sounds like i work for whirlpool . But I promise that I don't .My husband and I are retired and watching our penny's , so we determined that Whirlpool gave us great value for our money. Love them .

Appliances should last more than 4 years!

I remember the good old days when major appliances lasted 20 years. This stove last 4 years and 3 months! The broiler comes on and continues to heat until it burns whatever you're trying to bake. Then it continues to heat beyond the temperature setting until you unplug the stove. A fire hazard! (error code f06 e1) I see in the reviews that others have had the same problem. I just ordered a new stove and it is NOT A WHIRLPOOL.

What I don't like about my new range!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like that the small burners are at the back of the range top. Those are the ones I use the most. They are too close to the knobs. Also the glass stovetop scratches easily. The oven seems to work well, but the light only comes on when it is activated on the control panel. With my old Whirlpool range, the oven light came on whenever the door was opened, in addition to being able to turn it on with the control panel. Also I wish there was a printed manual included with the range.

Oven works great. Stovetop has plenty of options
