[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used the oven 4 times in the first year but the gasket for the door was hanging down just a few days before the end of the first year and had to be replaced with a more substantial gasket. I cannot get the glass top clean. It looks awful. I bought 4 Whirlpool appliances at the same time and 2 had to have service before the end of the factory warranty. It does not bode well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this new electric range for two weeks now and I am pleased with the ease of use and how well it fits in the "built in" area. The range burners get hot and cook food, the oven gets hot and cooks food...no surprises. I do have a minor gripe about the timer alarm. It is ridiculously quiet. If you are in the kitchen when it goes off, you can hear it, but if you are in another room, maybe not...
The fit and finish are good except there was some kind of adhesive on the glass cooktop that looked like scratches and I was very upset when I saw it. Turns out to be some kind of glue. I used lighter fluid (naphtha) and it wiped off with a little effort. Overall, I am happy with the new range.
