[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Performance is fine but it does seem flimsy. Not as sturdy as I would expect from whirlpool. When pushing the digital settings buttons the entire back moves as if it is thin lightweight and flimsy. I would give 3.5 stars

I've been breaking in the oven for 6 weeks now...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been breaking in the oven for 6 weeks now...and things are getting better...I think. First, I have historically been brand loyal to Whirlpool for appliances because they last. I replaced another Whirlpool range with this one. The previous one was manufactured last century! (I'm not sure when as the previous homeowners swapped in this range when they left, a range that is older than the house!). I got rid of it before it died. So, this new one...cooktop beats out the last century version as it quickly gives the right level of crisp to the corned beef hash! On the other hand, it's undercooking potatoes in the oven that I have been cooking weekly for over a year. The first thing I noticed was after the beep occurred to let you know pre-heating was done, my independent thermometer consistently said the true temp was 75 degrees Fahrenheit that it should have been. I called Whirlpool support once and they showed me how to calibrate the stove but I could only raise that temperature by 30 degrees. Then it consistently was 45 degrees cooler than it should have pre-heated, too. I have been running more experiments that I'm making fully cooked potatoes. Well, over the last several weeks, that 45 degrees became 40 and then 35, almost 25 today. I also started to notice that if I left the door close for 1-3 more minutes, it would continue to heat (with the heating element actually on) until that temperature got close to the desired temperature (usually 5 degrees warmer). Maybe in another month or two, the 25 will become 10-15??? Is this how electric ranges are supposed to work? I mean, I have never had one of these new, "fancy" ones made in this century before...
