[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my range for about a month, and so far, I have no complaints. I have never used a glass top range and I am still getting used to it. But I love Whirlpool products and would not buy anything else.

New stove yay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove is similar to my previous one. There are some differences that take a little time getting used to. I wish a user's manual had been included with this purchase. Trial & error to learn the operation. I don't like the timer function which gives an indication one time & is not very loud. Me former stove, not a Whirlpool, was louder, would stop & give intermittent reminders that the timer had gone off, so you had to shut it off. Oh well!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Little disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So bought it a year ago.Had not used the cleaning cycle because I like to do it in winter cause it get so hot ,I thought! Not realizing I did not get the one with the self clean cycle. Its some new (Steam Clean) It does nothing . It says in manual its suppose to get hot so do not touch the element . After the cycle I was able to reach in and touch elelmnet it wasnt hot at all. Maybe warm . Not sure what its suppose to do ..But it did nothing . Hate this part and the top glass after a year is scratching . Not a fan of the shiny glass. My old stove was a Whirlpool and it was 20 years old and look like it was New !!! This one is a year old and looks like I had it for years and didn't take care of it.. My glass on my old stove didn't have one scratch on it . And the inside had heat clean it wiped away No Problem.....

Good range, except for misfunctioning top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought Whirlpool all my kitchen appliances and washer and dryer. The electric range shows "Cooktop on Cooktop Hot" all the time although all burners are off. Had no luck in having it to work properly, i.e. turning range on and off. Called Whirlpool but after 40 minutes of waiting ... Sent emails to support center ..no luck. Hate to call unknown repair person as I may be having a huge bill for a practically new range. What are the options?
