Does the job, yet squeaks and creaks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range works, but when using the oven the unit squeaks and creaks so noticeably it is annoying. Others had warned of the same issue, I thought they were nuts. I was wrong. Don’t buy this range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our stove/oven of 35 years bit the dust recently. On advice of the repair person, he suggested Whirlpool (among other brands). I choose this one because it is SIMPLE. Not a lot of bells and whistles that I don't need. Just functionality and ease of use. I had a ceramic top stove before, so I love this one too. Black top is an adjustment for me - my last one was white. Oven works well as does stove top. I like the choices of burner sizes and that I can use any type of pan or pot on any burner. (my last stove required glass pots on all burners but one.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this for a couple of months and am well pleased except that from the first day and still continuing, the oven makes a clicking sound the entire time it is on. This concerns me.
