Good value for a simple glass top range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to update my range to stainless with a clean streamlined look. This fit my budget and exactly the clean look I wanted. The oven and stove top work very well and I appreciate the visual contrast when the burners are on. I've not tried the Steam Clean feature to the oven but glad that I will not have to turn on intense heat to clean my oven.
I am disappointed in one thing... Immediately upon using this stove top, my skillet scratched the burner. I then read the instructions which caution that cookware must be smooth and flat bottom. Crud.... I can't quite believe that I have this little scratch with the first use. Irritates the heck out of me!!! Not sure what this cooktop will look like in 5 years?! I tossed out some pans and skillets and need to buy replacements now. This is my third glass top stove and I am puzzled by this need to be so extremely careful with my pans. Not good. So, if you buy this range, be sure to pick up some new smooth, flat bottomed cookware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range and am very impressed how evenly the food cooks. The only drawback is cleaning the range. I followed directions and cleaned the oven twice but some oil stains can still be seen. They recommend certain cleaners but even that didn't remove the stain/
