New versus old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 14 YO Whirlpool range with this one .. basically the same model.
Pros: The new one has 5 vs 4burners on the old range. The elements heat faster and keep more even temperature. Keeping the smooth top surface clean is easier. Oven works well.

Cons: The self clean feature is NOT. It is an assisted clean feature. Requires more work from you to clean oven. The storage drawer is half the size of the old range and there is no liner like the old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm learning my way around this stove, simple enough. This is my first smooth top. So far it's working great. The only issue is with the location of a panel in the back of the stove, just where the power cord connects at the back. Because the power cord juts out, and the panel from the stove protudes in the same spot, the stove did not push back flush against the wall. Now, I have to find an electrican to relocate my outlet.

Flat top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had a flat top stove top before and I have to say, I'm not a big fan. If you get water on the top and it sits for too long it leaves a film that you can't get off making the top look dirty. I wish I wldve bought a large oven because you can not fit two cookie sheets aide by side on one rack. Other than that the quality is great.

Oven gasket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The range works fine and is attractive but the gasket between the oven and oven door is badly designed. The pins to hold it are cheap and I do not believe it will last.
