[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven makes a squeaking noise when baking. Also underneath the panel where the dials are has sharp metal that is almost like a knife and it cut my finger when I tried to clean. So I would have to say it’s pretty junky.

Cheap !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always try to buy Whirlpool products when we built our new home in 2010 we chose whirlpool over GE for our appliances and they have been great ! My new stove works great, however I am disappointed at how cheap it is, it came with no instructions, the bottom drawer unbelievably cheap.

I love the sleek look, the smooth top, and the extra burner is so handy! This is the first time I’ve been able to cook an entire meal all at once. The alert to the cooktop being hot is so nice to have also. Very happy with my Whirlpool range!

Lower than expected quality

Very disappointed in the glass top's ability to be cleaned. Build up after just two uses that does not want to come off.
Insulation of oven is poor and heats the outside metal of the oven too much.
Whirlpool is supposed to be the top line of your products and was promoted as a higher end product. This seems to be a unit where cost has driven out the quality and performs more like a low-end unit.
I am disappointed overall.

terrible oven

Glass is horrible

I hate this stove. Unfortunately I bought a house with an electric stove and this is the "new thing". I literally hate it I'm on my second one because the glass scratched just cooking and now it's chipped (and that's being overly protective).

Buyer Beware - When a great product goes horribly wrong

Love the stove. Hate the glass top, it's terrible to keep clean - shows every fingerprint and dust particle. Oven door glass CAN and IS spontaneously exploding/shattering. I had just begun to prepare dinner and had preheated my oven to 375 degrees. It had just beeped alerting that preheat was complete. I opened the door, placed a cookie sheet with meat inside and closed the door. No more than 1 minute later, a loud explosion noise came from the kitchen. I ran to the kitchen to see what had happened - the inside glass panel of my oven had shattered all over the inside of the oven. When I opened the door, glass broke off and fell out all around the stove. I immediately turned off the oven and left the door cracked for cooling.I have read the online reports that indicate user error but I am 110% positive that is NOT my case I am the ONLY one who cooks. I am very careful with all my property. My husband and our boys work at an automotive glass factory. I am WELL aware of the microscopic defects that do pass inspection. Like I said, this is a great product but does need improvement. If purchasing, inspect the glass very carefully before accepting the product. One small flaw can turn to disaster quickly.

Quality Concern

I just had this delivered and as I was pulling the packing stickers off, I noticed the oven door gasket is not attached fully. It appears the front panel was not lined up correctly and it has skewed the front, causing the gasket clips to pop out. The stainless steel front panel was also coming off. I was able to press it back but I’m not sure how long it will hold up...
Theres also a “popping” noise when I open and close the door. It feels like the hinge on one side slips as it pops.
I like the look and the price of this stove. But I haven’t had a chance to use it yet.
