problem with mother board

This is the 3rd of these whirlpools that the mother board (at a cost that makes it about as expensive as a new stove) that has gone out on the different ones I and my mother have had. This appears to be an ongoing problem- don't understand why you haven't fixed it yet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this stove because I heard it was part of Kenmore products. My Kenmore Stove was The Best on the Market. Hit by power outages and surges and repairs couldn't bring it back I had NO Choice but to buy a new stove. First time using the oven...frozen French bread pizza crispy on the bottom some stuff on top wasn't even hot. Second time using the oven, making Summer Sausage that requires low heat 175 degrees for 8 hours. It wasn't done after 8 hours so I had to bake it for another 3 hours. I've been making this recipe for over 45 years in two different Kenmore Stoves...The Whirlpool failed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheaply Made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old range broke and repairs were going to be more costly than a new range. We needed it replaced quickly so didn't shop and do any research. Lesson learned. This range is 'okay'...the stove heats and the cook top gets hot. The disappointment is in how cheaply it is made and the quality of material used. It is a big step down from our last range and in a comparable price range (taking into consideration inflation). I would not buy this range again nor will I recommend it to a friend.
