Meets or Exceeds expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no choice in which range my home builder used, but that's a dark and bleak story for another day. That being said, I'm definitely not disappointed this is the range they chose. It's heating and temp regulation performance is top-notch and easy enough to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Range Missing a Couple of Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range recently and it’s pretty much like the Whirlpool I replaced (and really liked) except it’s missing a couple of features. First, a screen warns you that the stove top is hot, but you have to guess which burner actually is—you can’t tell by looking at the burners as they are cooling. Second, the timer does not display seconds until the last 60. So if you set it for five minutes, it goes to 4, but is it 4 min 58 seconds or 4 min 22 seconds? You don’t know. Third—the biggest disappointment—my old Whirlpool had a speckled stovetop with the four black burners which did not show smudges, etc. This is all black and seems to show everything. So it’s a good range but improving those three things I mentioned would make it an outstanding range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice range; good price; works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls, the range top, and the oven all work very well. I haven't tried the Steam Clean feature yet, but looking forward to that. The drawer is very cheaply constructed by comparison and not perfectly fitted; however, since it's not on the list of primary reasons I purchased the range, I can live with it.

Sad Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not used to a glass top stove, so that was a learning curve. The biggest issue is with the oven that does not bake as well as my old stove. Cookies took much longer to bake, hence some burnt cookies, and baking meals I had to turn temperature up to have meals cook finish cooking so we could eat.
I will be getting a new stove.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good range at reasonable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a range from another manufacturer after its oven stopped working just shortly after the warranty expired. To replace the defective part would have cost me almost as much as a new range. My repair person recommended this model and it has been working just fine. It's fairly basic, but we did not care about having the latest bells and whistles, so this meets our needs quite well. Because of our satisfaction with it, I bought another one to give my son and his family when their old range stopped working and was not worth repairing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

OVEN HEAT???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't really used it yet, as I left a couple of days after receiving it. I did notice that when testing oven at 350 that the top of range got almost too hot to touch. Is that a common occurrence? Should I be concerned?
