Great battery life

I got my new Garmin a week ago and so far so good. I had troubles syncing at first, but now everything seems to go smoothly. I’m still learning all the features (it’s overwhelming how many things it can do), but the PacePro feature is helping a lot with my trainings, as well as the vitals. Besides, I have only needed to charge it once in one week, although I have activated several features who would have drained other batteries in one day.

I love this watch! It has so much information if you love to analyze things. Excellent battery life and GPS accuracy. Bonus... it’s super pretty!

confusing set up

there is no option for fenix 6s sapphire set up there are 2 options for pro not sure which one. IQ! keeps apearing on screen not sure why. The tutorials did not following the screens this was also confusing

This is my first personal Garmin piece of equipment. I’ve used a handheld Garmin GPS units for years for my job and love them. I traded my iWatch for the Fenix and will never go back to the Apple Watch. I’ve had the Fenix for two days and am smitten. Pretty strait forward setup, but will be referencing the PDF manual (easily found and available online) which provides copious information formatted in a very useful, easy to follow way. Had a little trouble getting Amazon Music downloaded and had to find a YouTube video, and that wasn’t too frustrating. This connected to my Bose Soundsport Free headphones automatically and they work better with the Fenix than with my iPhone. I love that this is NOT a touch screen. I’m not always hitting the wrong feature when trying to change a song. So personally, I’m thrilled to go back to a button I can feel through my running gloves. I’m not fighting frozen fingers just to change a song, or hit pause. As for fit, I was a little hesitant ordering online without trying it on because my wrists are oddly boney and awkwardly skinny, so I chose the smallest watch face and band and it fits great. So far I’m very impressed with the features, especially the Sleep recording. This watch seems to take accurate measurements which is impressive. Overall, I have a little learning to do, but so far it’s worth it. Love this watch. However, it was tough to dish out this kind of cash for a watch, but that is also worth it when I’m hiking or working alone is remote territories and can send an alert to three emergency contacts. My mother is thrilled about this.

Multipurpose watch

Getting back into running after a few years focused on cycling and was looking at options to replace my old forerunner. I work in an office setting that requires formal business attire, so in order to take advantage of many of the new features it would need to be an attractive watch. I purchased the rose gold version and while it is bulkier than a regular watch it is an acceptable timepiece for the office. The HR monitoring seems to be quite accurate and the sleep tracking is interesting if you can get past sleeping with something on your wrist. I've only used for running so far. It picks up satellites quickly and the display is very visible / customizable. I'm using run/walk intervals to train and the face is easy to see even when running in the dark. I purchased the additional metal watch band but haven't yet fit it to my wrist to swap out. That is a very useful feature if the nylon gets sweaty from a run and you need to air it out, I will be using that as the temperatures get hotter.

Great small watch!

I have been training for triathlons for the last three years using a similar product from a different brand. I finally bit the bullet and switched to Garmin and I couldn't be happier. The analytics are great and intuitive and I can't wait to try the music feature.

Cannot connect to wifi

I’ve been wanting to buy this watch for a long time and it arrived in the mail yesterday. It has many cool features but the one I was especially excited about was connecting to Spotify and playing music while I run. Unfortunately I have had no luck connecting my watch to WiFi which is necessary to download music. I am hoping there is some trick I am missing but so far it seems there’s something wrong with the watch itself. I am extremely disappointed.
