Shameful battery life!

I've had every iteration of Garmin Fenix product and this was the one I wanted the MOST to love, but unfortunately it's just fallen dead on arrival. It does not meet my expectations and the battery life is absolutely atrocious. Frankly, I'll be happy to have the Fenix 5s back on my wrist and send my 6s back to the manufacture.

Great look AND features

I previously had the 920 and wanted something more fashion forward with great triathlon features. This fit perfectly! I have the 6s so it’s a little smaller with great battery life and functions! However. It has been a slight learning curve from the 920 with less “how to” advice out there. I’m still learning!

Totally in love

I’ve been reviewing watches for about six months when I decided on the Fenix 6s. Great purchase, all the data that it tracks helps me train. Only glitch is that it doesn’t always upload the current weather.

Love the look of the Fenix 6s

I love the looks of this watch, but so far (as a first time user of a watch like this) I wish there was a Garmin 6 pro for dummies! I can easily capture my hikes! But I am not close to getting anywhere else with it!! I paid a lot of money to only harness 1/2 the abilities of this watch.

Love the size and features!

I just bought this watch maybe 8 days ago and I love it so far! I have had connectivity issues with it connecting and disconnecting from my phone and the garmin connect app. I love the features and I did find it relatively easy to figure out. I have a 50 mile race coming up and I’d like to see how the battery performs! Overall a great watch!

Good but less than expected

I’ve had it for approximately 1 month. Some of the features are less than expected. It doesn’t sync with my phone quickly like my vivofit and forerunner. Sometimes it takes several hours before it will sync. I have it set to pause automatically when stopped and it is very slow to stop and start again which makes mileages and pace less accurate. I also don’t find the user interface friendly and the weight reps are not accurate so I have to continually edit during exercise. I’m not happy with the battery life and although you could turn off some things to save battery power you shouldn’t have to.

Great all around multi sports watch

I have had my watch for about a month, previous owner of the Fenix 3. Was looking for an upgrade and am really happy with my purchase. Compared to my previous watch the change was definitely a win, and I am glad I did it. The smaller watch face is definitely a plus. The old one was pretty bulky on my wrists which are pretty small, but the smaller size doesn't effect how easy it is to read. The heart rate monitor seems to be pretty accurate when I compare by counting, so it is nice to not wear the heart rate band around my chest when I work out. It is a true multi sport watch but the interfaces are pretty excellent in each category with lots of options for customization. I am truly a jack of all trades master of none, so it is nice to have a preprogramed app for each of the activities I enjoy. It only takes a second to get them started and they preform well. I wasn't in the market for a cellphone style smart watch but it is pretty handy to get my text/call notifications right to my wrist without taking my phone out.

Defective battery.

Returned the device after a week. Burned through 3-4% of battery per hour with all extra features turned off. Maybe the new firmware would fix it, but seemed like a poor bet for a very expensive product.
