Got this for Christmas to replace my FR630 (which I still have and works great) as my main running watch. There is definitely a learning curve to this watch as it does so much and I’m use to a more runner oriented only watch. I wish the battery last longer and that more running dynamics could be tracked with the watch without having to wear a HRM. As a female HRM straps can be difficult to say the least. The look of the watch is fantastic and looks better dressed up than the FR630. I am also very pleased with the Incident Detection. Makes my husband and I both feel better when I run early mornings and/or on main roads. Looking forward to learning and using the watch more.

I received the Fenix 6s pro sapphire for Christmas and I am thrilled. I was previously using a "smart" watch rather than a watch made for running and there is a significant difference. I am really pleased by the ease of use and overall functionality. I have found the detailed metrics to be incredibly helpful.

Disappointing

I was looking forward to this watch. However, the screen had a bluish hue and the contrast was off--even after adjusting the brightness, it was very dull. The music did not work--downloaded Spotify, followed all the instructions to sync and still the watch did not bring up my music options. Returned the watch.

Do Far So Good

I've been a basic Fitbit user for the last five years but started running and training harder so I needed a tracker to keep up with me. This is definitely a stylish piece with rich features that I'm not starting to learn. There is a wide differential between FitBit heart rate measure and Garmin so I'm trying to figure those out. I tested an Apple watch for a few days before I landed with Garmin. An Apple Watch is just an iPhone on your wrist with terrible battery life. The Garmin Battery life is awesome for such a feature rich piece and you can make adjustments to either extend or lessen the life. It's a bit early to give a full review but so far I love it!

Great way to start 2020

Exchanged Suunto for this unit - much more rugged, lots of data always on screen. Great app/watch interface and data sharing with My Fitness Pal.
