Great watch for nearly every activity

I love this watch. I've used it for running, biking, swimming, weight training, and hiking. I was worried that even the smaller size might still be too big and bulky, but it doesn't bother me at all. I am amazed by the amount of data this device is able to collect. The only "bugs" I've noticed is that while open water swimming, sometimes the GPS shoots off a short segment which throws off the distance, and the weight training reps aren't super accurate (although that doesn't really bother me because I can manually input reps after each set).

This watch is amazing! long battery life, already has so many trails downloaded for hiking. Can't wait to use it for climbing and skiing. I didn't realize how much I would use it, it was a fantastic purchase.

Robust and Reliable

This watch so far has proven feature rich, easy to use, and rugged. I admittedly mostly use it as an everyday movement tracker, but the navigation tools prove useful and manageable when I have used them. It even alerts me to upcoming strava segments so I remember to edge out the last remaining power on the graveyard climb near home. For a watch of this capability and compact size the battery is impressive and shows no serious degradation in my first six weeks of use.
Syncing spotify was a breeze - only complaint is that I can't use other functions on the watch while spotify syncs - no background capability, but typically I will just have it sync to spotify while its on the charger and I'm in the shower.
As an iPhone user, the Garmin Connect app is easy enough - just wish the Connect IQ were a bit easier to navigate and figure out what's useful.
As far as ruggedness goes I wear it daily working as a bicycle mechanic and took it and wore it on a recent rock climbing trip to the Red River Gorge and it still looks new and the screen is unscathed.
A pretty penny, maybe, but well worth it in my opinion.

It's a Garmin so it's great. Only knock is it sometimes struggles with tree cover.

I've had this for a few months and I love it. Despite being a mechanical watch fan, I find myself wanting to wear this more and more. Has been very useful for running and backpacking.
