Great watch, great size

This is much more comfortable than my previous Suunto smart activity watch. I really like the app interface and responsiveness of the watch itself. The only negative for me was they the band that came with it was on the small side. I resolved this by ordering a slightly longer band and love the quick change feature to swap them out.

I love this watch. I use maybe 1/10th of it's features but very capable and holds a charge.

Good not great

I do love this watch and all of the features. My biggest complaint is the battery life. My old Fenix 3 would be good to go for multi day mission in the backcountry. This one doesn't even last a full day in gps mode.

Because it is fairly comprehensive. Only thing that should be improved: accuracy of swimming distance.

Nice watch for the money. It tracks our hike so you know how to get back and how long you've gone. Also takes 8 days in between charges

Best watch I own

It took all of about 2 days to realize how much I like this watch. The button layout is intuitive, starting and stopping activities easy, and the app is great and easy to use/customize. I think the heart rate monitor is a little off, however it is a wrist based calculation. So accurate for a wrist but still not as accurate as a chest monitor, cant knock it for that. Works surprisingly well for tracking climbing routes. Really looking forward to winter to try out the ski run tracking.
I started running when I bought myself an Apple Watch, which was great for starting to get me active. Now that I've been running for over 2 years and have been enjoying racing, I needed something that gave me a little bit more training-wise. I love the metrics I get with my Fenix 6s to help me recover from long runs and help prepare me for my HM this weekend. I go to the gym and do all sorts of workouts from strength training to spin to water aerobics, and this watch will record it all no sweat! I can even take it on my paddleboard and track my treks out on the water. Love that I can still use the watch in the water when working out, unlike my previous watch.
Overall, I'm so happy I made the jump to the Garmin Fenix 6s. Its going to keep me motivated to keep crushing my PRs, and I know the watch won't be out of date in a few short years!
