Great watch but somewhat challenging to use.

I bought this watch for my 1st 100 mile race.... it died at 25:42 hours..... so it stopped 2 hours short of my finish. The watch is nice and easy to read although the setting are hard to figure out.... I still can't figure out how to have the date show on the watch face.

Everything I expected

Still learning all the features but love the watch so far.
Original band with 6s is WAY to small/short. I don't want a watch bigger than my arm so went with the 6s. The strap was too short, even shorter than my wife's forerunner watch strap.
Spoke to Garmin rep and they treated me well with great customer service. I since have the 'long' strap now and works great

Great features , long lasting battery

I am coming up on having this watch for 10 months . Absolutely love it ! I couldn’t be more pleased . So many features . The battery life is phenomenal. Great watch overall.

GPS no longer connects

GPS connection is useless. It no longer tracks my runs. I have tried everything to rectify this issue.

The Garmin fenix 6s is perfect for my needs, and if yours are similar you will agree. I use my watch for many different functions-fitness tracking, EMS (things like counting respirations or timing things), like to take it backpacking/hiking/camping, etc. I needed very specific features and did a ton of research before purchasing. The things I was looking for were hard to find in a single watch-waterproof and extremely tough, excellent battery life (I have an overnight shift and cannot use a watch that needs to charge each night), good GPS, "always on" display option, good visibility outdoors/in bright lighting, fitness tracking, heart rate/pulse ox, some app alerts. I am an iPhone user but I did not want or need to text or take/make calls from my watch. I could (if I chose) view texts on it, and I can "accept" a call on my phone via the watch (it simply answers the call on the phone, I cannot hear or speak on the watch itself). If those features are important for you this may not be right for you, but this watch has held up beautifully and meets all of my needs.
I did have one issue about a year into owning it where the "vibrate" noise started rattling like something was loose in the case. Garmin replaced it at no cost to me. Highly recommend!

Rock solid watch

Compact and packed with features. I use this watch on every hike and outdoor adventure. It has looong battery life and build-in maps that don't use a cell network connection. It works anywhere and has even helped me navigate along hiking trails to campsites. An invaluable outdoor companion. It's easy to get started with this watch, but its seemingly bottomless feature set will keep you coming back.

Amazing Multi-Sport Training Watch

Amateur to pro level multi-sport athletes will be addicted to this watch and the data output in less than 1 month. The Garmin Connect app is the first thing I open every day. Tracks sleep, and training readiness.
Watch is great for tracking all running and swimming training. I suggest pairing with the Garmin HR monitor for both cycling and running. For cycling, I suggest to add any line of the Garmin bike computers, and pair with the Garmin power meter pedals.
