Pretty watch. That's about it

I waited awhile to get this watch and I finally broke down and bought it. I'm ready to go back to my 920xt. The GPS on this watch is poor. My OWS do not track properly. My heart rate with the strap is all over the place. I live with a great exercise path that is 6.5 miles. With even the slightest tree cover the watch loses GPS. I have an ironman in 12 days and am beyond disappointed that this is my watch. I will be contacting garmin about all my issues. I have unpaired heart rate. I've changed the battery. Not much improvement. Don't know what is issue with open water. The only place it works the best is indoor swimming. Biking is usually OK BUT again same issues with hrm especially when tree covered.

Great features for my lifestyle

Bought this about two weeks ago. Love all the steps tracking most. Long battery life rocks. Still getting used to all the features. Really easy to track sleep pattern.

Excited and Still Learning

I am 76 years old and I climb a mountain every week from March through September. I had been using a Fitbit, but the battery wouldn’t make it all day. When I got the Garmin I took it on an 18 mile day hike. The battery was fine. So I love the battery.
Also, I have managed to figure out the data screens. I love being able to see heart rate, time of day, pace and elevation gain at a glance.
I have not used the maps yet. I played with them but that is the subject of my next learning session.
The Fitbit seemed to give me credit for more steps than the Garmin does. When I get to the top of a mountain and I have 14,000 steps I should have double that by the time I get down. Maybe I’d because I run down.
Oh, and the “Strength” feature is fun at the gym.

The perfect watch!

Not worth the money

I got this watch 2 weeks ago, so far, sleep tracking stopped working for 4 days, activity tracking stops by itself in the middle of activity, stress meter stuck at measuring, worked for 3 days, then stopped. Contacted Garmin support, they suggested send out a replacement, will see how is the replacement watch works. Really frustrated, so much money, and the basic functions are not even working. I’m thinking going back to Fitbit, 1/3 of price and works much better.

Fun Watch!

So far so Good! I bought this after much pressure from my running buddies to replace my Apple Watch. So far I'm truly enjoying it. This is a top-of-the-line watch and I'm not using half of its features, but I love it for what I do use it for....Running!
