Super GPS watch; unless you want maps...

For general around town biking, walking, swimming at the local pool, etc. it's a great GPS watch. If you want maps, sorry, not on this model. You'll have to step up to the Pro model to get onboard maps. Beyond that it is loaded with everything a person could need.
Let me stress, I didn't to do adequate research before I bought this model. Not getting exactly what I wanted was my fault totally. The fenix 6S is a great GPS watch when used for what it was built to do. Just be sure you know what you're getting when you buy.

Better than my Apple Watch 5!!

I really needed an Android phone to do what I do, but I was disappointed that I would no longer be able to use my Apple Watch Series 5. I loved the way it tracked everything and all the data and analysis I received.
As an avid outdoorsman, runner, cyclist, snowboarder, and basically someone who is outside as much as possible, it was great having something on my wrist that tracked all of my physical activities and gave me notifications as well. I found that the Apple Watch 5 bothered me *too much* (I don't need to know about facebook messenger in the woods), but what it did it did well.
I researched and researched and "settled" on the Fenix 6S Pro...
OH. MY. GOSH.
I am a software developer, I am the CEO of a successful accounting and tax practice, and a very tech-savvy and busy person. This. Watch. Is. Amazing.
The features, the battery life, the kick-a** display, and the amazing features make this a far better device than Apple has ever offered. I have so much more data -- and more accurate, relevant data -- than I've ever had before. On top of that, I get to decide what notifications I receive in a way that Apple's products can't match: talk about Digital Minimalism!
I couldn't be happier and I will continue to buy Garmin products in the future. Yay!

I have been wearing a Fenix 5S for the last 3 years and the quality is much better than my brand new 6s. Quite disappointed The biggest issue are the buttons and the rough edges around the event starts stop. I'm concerned that the rest of the watch is also poor quality compared to past products. I realize profit is important but quality is worth paying for when you wear the watch for everything you do.

Fantastic Watch

I do a majority of my runs on the trail in the desert and this watch is stellar! It's not too heavy and doesn't feel obnoxiously bulky at all. I've never been able to sleep in a watch before but have started to with this one, as again it isn't terribly obnoxious on my wrist.
I'm excited to look at all the stats and see how I progress through all the Garmin features.

Love everything but cannot connect spotify

Went for my first run and this Watch is amazing! Love all the features, however I cannot figure out how to connect Spotify, in searching online this seems to be a common issue. Will be contacting Garmin soon.
