Great features

This is my first Garmin and I chose this watch because of the features it has. It did take me some time to figure out how to use the watch, change settings, etc. Now that I know how to navigate my watch, I am loving it!

Super cool - but

Here’s the thing, this is probably the coolest watch I’ve ever ordered. I returned it the very next day. It literally has everything I’ve ever wanted in a watch. It has all the biometrics I’ve ever wanted and the customization is the coolest. It was super easy to pair with my phone and the ease in setup couldn’t make it more enticing.
The only drawback to this awesome and awe-inspiring piece of hardware is that it isn’t touchscreen. It makes getting through the commands clunky and super not user friendly. You would think for a watch of this price point, that has pulled out all the stops and has all the bells and whistles, it would be touchscreen as well.
I love everything about it, but returned it for a different Garmin product.
I can’t wait for this model to upgrade to touchscreen. I’ll certainly revisit when that happens.

Only have had it a week now but am obsessed with it! I changed from an Apple Watch (which I loved) but for my fitness journey this watch does it all! Couldn’t be happier!

So far so good

I did a lot of research before I decided to purchase this watch. I’ve only worn it for one run but it’s done what I wanted it to. It has a sleek design for everyday wear. so much data. So many features. It’s my first Garmin so there’s a bit of a learning curve. It’s not as intuitive as I would want.

Fenix 6S, great size!!!

I have the Suunto Spartan for that past 3-ish years, and I loved it, but I have a small frame and the watch was massive on my child-like wrists. I've been wanting an equivalent watch, but without the size. I'd been looking at the 6S for months before purchasing it. Alot of the reviews comparing the Garmin and Suunto say both are good, but the brands are hard to switch from. I've only had the Fenix for a few days, and it's been a relatively easy change. The app supporting the Garmin is alot more informative than the Suunto as well. Overall, I'm very happy with this watch!

Beautiful, but less comfortable

I upgraded from a garmin forerunner to this watch to wear all day since I’m not a huge fan of the plastic watch look, and I love all the features and most of all the ability to customize data screens and see more data while running, but the watch is heavy and metal parts dig into my skin, and if I loosen the watch it’s too big and doesn’t read heart rate appropriately. My wrist is quite small though. I go between the 2nd and 4th tightest watch band holes.

General screen view - contrast is horrible

I received the watch 48 hrs ago.
Like the different features, accurate heart rate meter but the screen view has too little contrast even when I've put it on 100% brightness. That's a bummer. I am torn about if I should return it or not.
Instructions are poor. So you have to watch a lot of video's to get the settings you want and I miss the touch screen. It is all about clicking the buttons xxxx times.

New Garmin watch

I bought this a few days ago. I’m still very unsure about it. Probably should have done more research over them. Keeps putting itself into demo mode. I don’t like that if you hit clear it doesn’t clear the notifications. You have to open every single one of them to clear. Coming from someone who gets like 50 a day that’s annoying. I will make up my mind within the next two months if I keep it or just charge my Apple Watch back up and keep moving with that one.
