Dont waste your money!!

My Girlfriend and I both purchased one of these watches for one another for Christmas. We had hoped to use it as a smart watch and an activity tracker for tracking walking, running and workouts. The watch is incapable of functioning as an activity tracker. It stops in the middle of workouts for no reason at all, the GPS doesnt work and its distance tracker is not close at all. Samsung doesnt stand by the product at all and refuses to take it back and refund us so we are stuck with a 2 useless products that cost hundreds of dollars. Ive had activity trackers/smartwatches before and certainly will never purchase a samsung again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Smart watch OK activity tracker

It has worked flawlessly from new not a single issue. The better half is the smart watch and apps. The health side and the sports tracker side work ok, with the available apps, My spouses watch is better at activities.
My disappointment is, In Canada, no Stress and no ECG. which is perfectly fine if you let someone buying a product know before making the purchase other wise it would be.... ummmm lying. these were main reasons I liked this watch over other watches. I said yes to the recommend to a friend, as a smart watch.

I got this watch to go with my new S20 and I absolutely love it! It gets me off the couch with its gentle suggestions and I really love controlling Spotify with it. Love how it automatically tracks my workouts, whether planned or not, and answering phones and sending texts with my voice is cool. I find I don't have to pull put my phone as often. Great selection of cool watch faces and nice apps. Highly recommended!

1.Watch fails to do accurate readings on treadmill training
2. Lacks outdoors exercises modes like stand up paddle
3. One out of ten nights it will fall to record sleep.
4. Exercise history will automatically delete entries after one month
5. Few occasions where the watch restated during a work out, losing training data.
6. Few occasions with unrealistic heart rate frequency during sleep (36) and during exercise (198) - I'm still alive.

Came from a Fitbit Ionic that I had for 2 years, bought a 3 year warranty thankfully as it just wasn't keeping its charge as long. Active2 is so far an enjoyable watch with many more features, still working on the settings to find it where I can enjoy the watch and yet don't have to charge it everyday. I've had it for just over a week. So far so good. Bottom line when it comes to electronics be smart always get the extended warranty!!!
