This product has challenges you need to be aware of

We got the product immediately upon release as we have other SONOS products (Play, soundbar...); all of which we are extremely happy with. The flexibility this offers with mobility made it an easy choice to make however it appears this product comes with some serious challenges that have not yet been addressed with the updates we've installed so I held on providing a hasty review expecting it would be addressed. This product freezes frequently even when remaining fully charged. A hard reset requires holding the power button for 20-30 seconds. I'm doing this 3-4 times per week and it just shows as offline in the app yet the indicator light remains on but just does not do anything when you try to initiate play. 1st time we have had problems with any SONOS product so for now until they address these issues save yourself the headaches.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Freezes frequently, Unreliable

Great quality sound, troublesome connectivity

Portability and sound quality are great - this speaker can fill the whole backyard. Connectivity with the app has been troublesome - often the speaker says its playing or not, appears as offline despite being connected and powered on, switching between bluetoooth and wifi hasn't been great.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult to Use

The move is very nice, quality, sound quality, sturdy, easy to handle. But I'm very disappointed in that they cannot be pair outside of a WiFi network, this completely nullifies the reason to have a Bluetooth set of speakers, the reason I bought this system was to be able have the ability to take the system (paired) to enjoy music at the park, beach, friends homes or anywhere you want to enjoy music that's outside of the WiFi. This was very disappointing and I'm considering returning the units. Much cheaper units are available the easily pair, I expected more from a leader in wireless technology. I would highly recommend the product to someone looking for a mono speaker.

Cons: Wireless pairing not possible

Sound is excellent but ongoing connection issues

I like the sound of the Sonos Move, but we have had ongoing connection issues with music streaming sites like Spotify. I am constantly rebooting our wifi modem and that is only a temporary fix. All other devices on our wifi network work fine - the Sonos is the only one with an issue. We've done all the recommended troubleshooting short of a physical ethernet connection, which is not possible with our set-up. So, while the sound is great, it has been a very frustrating unit to use.

Cons: Unreliable

We have had our speaker for less than a month. It keeps getting errors requiring us to dock it. It doesn't hold a charge well.

good sound but questionable battery life

It has a nice sound. deeper bass than the bose. It is quite large. My issue is with the battery. I had to return one because it had a bad battery leak. The one i have now is better but when I shut it down (not standby mode), like power it off, i expect the battery to be at the same level when i turn it back on. It never is. Also the 10-12 hours is wrong. I would say 6 hrs max if you have it at a reasonable level. Hopefully they will fix the battery issue. I am running the latest OS and patches.

Cons: poor batter life

Have owned for only 2 weeks, but have yet to get more than 2-3 hrs per battery charge at normal/casual volume levels, much less than the 9-10 hours advertised. Very disappointing, especially for the price!

Won't connect

I have 13 Sonos products in my house and have never had an issue setting any of them up. The Move will not connect. Three days of trying and nothing. But Sonos will get back to me in 7-10 days. What a joke.... going to be returning this item.
