I found the setup fairly straightforward, in terms of capturing audio from apps via WiFi. The one drawback is that getting audio straight from your laptop is not so straightforward, and seems to rely on AirPlay, which for some people would require extra purchases. Still learning, but it was more complicated than I thought it would be. Sounds Great!
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Expandable, Free Control Options, Superior Sound, Wireless
We have Sonos throughout the main level of our house. We bought this 2nd Move to add the basement to our music experience. We already had one Move for the pool outside. Our friends LOVE the Sonos experience at our house.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Superior Sound, Wireless
The product works especially poorly when connecting to wifi where there are competing networks. If you anticipate having to move around and will be setting up the device regularly to new networks, this is probably not the system you want. It's been such a hassle for our team, the speakers been off more than it's been on.
