Very unhappy with the battery life

The Move was easy to set up and had a great sound but loses substantial battery life when powered off. After a complete charge, I used it for several hours which decreased the power to around 55%. I powered the unit off and when I tried to use it 3 days later, the battery did not have any battery life.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Superior Sound, Wireless
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought I would be able to use my playlists on the Galaxy 10+ but I can't. Now I'm stuck with a product that won't play my music.

Finally, almost an outdoor speaker from Sonos

Because these aren't really outdoor speakers, they still need to be kept indoors until used outdoors on dry days. True outdoor speakers sound better and don't have to protected From weather like these do.
Pros: Wireless
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been a user of Sonos for many years and am now up to 17 speakers throughout my home (and building). Aside from the brand new models, I have pretty much listened to every make and model. The Move has been an amazing asset to their portfolio due to it's connection flexibility and weather proofing. The sound, as expected, is great. My only criticism of Sonos in general has been the communication signal. BUT, I believe that I've finally resolved this through a combination of placement and having at least one hardwired. The opportunity now lies in some latency issues within the controller application. When you're adding 10+ speakers to a group, it takes some time (10s of seconds, not minutes) for them all to come online. This and the occasional stop/start of streaming content which I believe is directly attributable to the source (SiriusXM streaming). Lastly, with three kids and some friends who are Sonos fans as well, it would be ideal to have the ability to control who can control which speakers. For instance, I'd prefer that my teenage daughter not have the ability to control the Beam in the master bedroom - or, for that matter, her younger sister's speaker (pranks). They should only be able to control their speakers and maybe a few others in the common areas of the home. Sonos is evolving from appealing to a very specialized audiophile market to a upper-end mainstream product. I believe their capabilities also need to evolve since they are capitalizing on the many-to-many inputs-to-outputs vs. one-to-many.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Unreliable

Routine compatibility

The entire sonos system did not come together as one system until I got the MOVE (1st flaw). Next. I could not use the entire system until I figured out the keywords are "alexa play music on sonos everywhere" (2nd flaw, no where does SONOS offer the key words to get that going). Third. The battery loses life even when it is km the charger. This device must be manually turned on and off. Lastly, routines are not responsive. For instance, I say "alexa, start the shower"... the device responds with "ok, start the shower is ready" but the shower never starts. This seems like a prototype
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Not fully functional with Smarthome, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use frequently around the house and outside where my sonos system isn't. The internal wifi extender within the Move makes it great for areas that might have been outside of the range previously. Love the sound quality and auto true play when I relocate it. Drops off of the S2 app constantly and makes setting up multiroom super frustrating. (so frustrating to have to problem solve / reset it daily) All my other wifi devices are available 100% of the time and seamlessly connect and are manipulatable for multi-room play. When it works - its a perfect score
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Drops from S2 app, Unreliable

Stellar sound fails constantly with apple music service

Lots of issues with apple music connection dropping. Happens enough that I won't consider any more Sonos products. I was going to replace all my home audio with a pair of fives these two moves and I own a pair of ones as well As tge sound bar but the apple connection is nit getting enough attention toward a fix from sonos. I even upgraded my router, modem and gave anazing wifi strength but still this connection loss with spe music continues. Buyer beware if apple us your music service. Its a shame since the audio quality is Fantastic.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Unreliable
