The Perfect Dolution

I wanted music in my garage/wood shop. A blue-tooth broadcaster for my Denon AVR was going to cost about $500. The Move was much less and I run music off my iPhone apps. Sound is so superior to the staticky AM/FM radios I had been using. I had to get tech help to set it up. It was difficult for the tech agent due to the small size of the product identifying numbers on the base of Move. These need to be enlarged 3x, at least.
Pros: Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup

Deep rich sound

I love that I can move this around my property from location to location. My place has wifi throughout and it never looses connection. The sound is top quality and it has great volume for outdoor use. Although the portability works well for my situation I can see where this is not one to take to the beach or a hike or even packing it in a suitcase for a vacation. It's to bulky and heavy for that.

Cons: Set up took awhile

Great speaker that deserves a better app

The sound is phenomenal. I was a die hard Bose fan until I purchased the Move. I was impressed enough with the first to buy a second. What I don't like is that many of the popular apps I use won't play through the Sonos app (YouTube, my Smart TV) which means I have to switch to Bluetooth and give up stereo mode (as far as I can tell). Another feature I don't like is that if you connect through Google voice and turn the speaker off, the speaker will turn back on (I really don't like that). Overall a very good product that deserves a better app to drive it.

Cons: App doesn't support all streaming services., Difficult to Use

Takes the portable speaker to a new level

I have been using a small, portable, bluetooth speaker. It sounds good and is more durable than I really need. The Sonos Move is larger & heavier, but the sound quality is way above the one I was using. I use it on my porch which offers fair protection from the elements. The Move is weather resistant which is great. I'm not using it around a pool or carrying it with me to BBQ's and parties. The set up had a couple of hiccups, but customer service was great and we got it working in a reasonable amount of time.There does seem to be an intermittent loss of wifi which requires restarting the app. I'm not sure yet what the cause of that is. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

My covered patio has a wired speaker set hooked up to Sonos Amp. I bought a Move for use near the pool. I felt it needed just a little more than one could provide, so I bought a second and set up as a stereo pair at the pool. Love the setup, sounds good, patio and pool can play the same or different- whatever I choose- and easy to switch.
