I love being able to connect the Move with the Beam and the Amp which powers Sonance speakers in the garden. It's a seamless music experience from inside to outside. Sound quality is great and so easy to use.

We use it standalone, but REALLY wish it integrated with our other Alexa speakers so it could join certain speaker groups. Right now we have to listen to it by itself. Love the wi-fi streaming.

For the money, one can buy three piece system with fuller stereo sound and much better bass, BUT it won't be as convenient, portable, or safe to use outdoors. It's a worthy trade off.

A great-sounding well-built portable speaker

I was introduced to this speaker when I rented a vacation home for a week back in October. I was so impressed with this speaker that my wife and I decided to treat each other to one for Christmas. I already have plenty of experience with portable speakers, but they're all bluetooth only. Being able to connect by Wifi makes all the difference, not to mention that the Move offers far superior sound to any bluetooth speaker that I've used. The speaker sits in the charging cradle the vast majority of the time in the center of my home, but it is really nice to be able to move it into another room or out onto my back porch as needed. We find that it works best if it is located against a wall in an adjoining room as a source of background music. You can then turn it up to get a fuller sound and not be overwhelmed by having the speaker sitting right on top of you. To sum it up, although the Move is expensive for a portable speaker, it is definitely a step up from a bluetooth speaker making it worth the money. We are very happy with our purchase.
