Beautiful device, start up in home was a breeze. Took some figuring out to use Bluetooth but after doing so it work perfectly. The life of the battery far exceeded my expectations. All that head the sound coming from my Move were blown away. Not believing it's a portable Sonos. Although I paid the price I do believe it's over priced.

Maybe better than I expected

I have thought about adding some wiring and a bracket to mount a Sonos speaker outside. But the move solves that problem and is maybe a better solution. Sitting on the front porch, grab the move off it's base and take your music with you. Eating out back, grab the move. It's a simple an elegant solution for those outdoor places that are not speaker friendly. Especially when you live in the northern hinterland. I haven't tried Bluetooth yet but it works great on WiFi so far. I think the only negative is Sonos move to obsolete some of their equipment. I'm listening to music right now on an old speaker and as long as it sounds great I don't care about Alexis or voice activation. I have too much invested to buy new equipment every five years.
Cons: Expensive

I have this product in the kitchen with another Sonos One. We can carry this one outside while the music continues to play inside. It's also great to be able to just take this one without disrupting music. In the past I would move one of the Sonos One's and it would take time to show up in the app again. This is always on, and ready to move.

I never had music out by the beach. I put in an a Sonos music system and added an eero extended wifi and now have great music anywhere outside. The Move Speaker is great and I can move it anywhere in the yard.

If you think one Sonos Move is expensive but sounds great, you should try TWO!! Like all Sonos products, it looks good, sounds good, but sounds exponentially better in a stereo pair.
