Such a cool item to have for Stranger Things fan's

I have been eyeing this set up since it was first released but had other lego items on my list to buy. Once I saw this back up on the site I quickly snagged it. This set was fun (like all lego in my opinion) but was not exactly entertaining. Obviously you are building the same thing twice and therefore it was a very quick build. Anyone who is a fan of the show will love this set. Patience is needed to connect the trees.

Brilliant Design and Great Details

The designers of this set really outdid themselves. The fact that you can flip it over is incredible. I almost didn't buy this because of the comments claiming that it is flimsy and difficult to join the two houses. I didn't find this to be the case at all. In fact, I'm really impressed with how stable and solid it is. You have to be careful connecting the houses, but I didn't have any problems. Just make sure all your connections are solid as you build. One of the best sets I've ever built!

Ive done alot of lego building and this one is very clever. A visual prop and scary nightmare at the same time. This one is a puzzle and fun to look at with others. Will be a keeper for the shelf and increase like fine wine. Great lego that is different from all the rest.

This set is so amazing! It looks amazing on the shelf and the build was so fun! When finally connecting to two worlds it was so satisfying! It just looks amazing and I bought it right as I was finishing Season 3 so couldn't have come at a better time! 10/10 set

Fun and creative set

My fiance and I are big fans of the show. When we saw this set was being released we knew we HAD to get it! We decided to build it together. It was a great time working as a team on this. All of the references in here to both season 1 and 2 has us even more excited for season 3.
This is an incredible set that I cannot recommend enough to fans or even non fans, this is simply a great set!
I would recommend this to a friend!

loved the build and liked the attention to details. had to go back and watch show and loved all aspects of the build. brought back memories as a kid building legos when they had no preformed kits. my all time fav build!!

I’ve been a Lego fan for YEARS - this is the ONLY set I haven’t completed. Every time I try to combine the houses, it collapses, every.single.time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear you’re having some difficulty with the stability of your Upside Down model. We always test and retest our toys to make sure that they’ll hold up to play when they’re built exactly as shown in the instructions. If your set ever seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. You’ll also want to make sure that all the pieces are pressed tightly together.

Worth it

My order says it was v39 so I'm guessing it was an updated one that fixed all the problems in the other reviews. I had no missing pieces, never had to use extra pieces, and nothing fell apart. Overall I'm quite happy in this build, although I would not recommend it for someone under 14 because of the difficulty of putting on the trees. The roof snaps together perfectly. Thank you lego! I hope you make more st sets!

V39 is just a region code - we haven't updated the set or made any changes since release. As you noticed, this set is one of our trickier ones. Since it's top-heavy, every single piece has to be just in the right spot, otherwise it will come apart when trying to stand it up.
