I loved the design of the upside down. The only issue I had was with the building guide. I had several pages where the color of the brick to use was wrong. But other then that it was very creative.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great LEGO set!

Took a while, but amazing build! Love the figures, I even added a custom Nancy and Jonathan. I’d say it took around 10 hours and I built 5 hours each day. I was actually able to watch all of the first season and a few episodes of the second season while building it! But it was very fun and now displaying it it just looks great! This one is definitely a keeper

An Incredible Build

I love the show, so this was a no-brainer purchase. The build is challenging and some of the building techniques are really well thought out. I had none of the issues the 1-star ratings speak of (pillars not attaching, houses not connecting, etc). This set requires you to pay attention to details and piece placement, so if you're having issues, it's likely something you're doing wrong.
The mini figs are awesome, especially Dustin and his hair and no teeth smile. Spot on.
Buy this set, pay attention, and start building! You won't be disappointed!

This is an awesome and exceptional set and buying this as a VIP card holder really makes it feel premium. Although the set is great the price is bit high. If this was around 150$ it would have been perfect. Anyways love it.

Fun With The Upside Down

I've only built a few other sets (like seriously one other) but thought I'd test my luck and try this build because I enjoy the show so much and I very recently (less than a month ago) got into Lego. It was absolutely amazing! The detail that went into this set is just awesome! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the instruction guide. Some of pieces are quite dark and my bad eyes couldn't make them out which was mildly frustrating. Then I found the digital guides app! I will definitely be loading up all instructions on my tablet from now on. Other than that, bravo Lego!

Wonderful concept. Hard to keep together

I think that this set is a wonderful piece. I however had a hard time getting the posts and the roofs to stay attached and it felt like a balance game once I somewhat got it to attach together. Lovely concept. But if you keep it on display like I do... put it in a place where you for sure know it's not gonna be bumped.

Captures the Spirit of the Show!

We built this set while binge watching the show...it was a blast!
There is an instruction book for the top world and one for the up-side-down. This allowed my son and me to build this model at the same time! What a great experience!
Once complete, we were impressed with how sturdy the model is. You can be confident this model will survive reasonable play-time!
The mirror design with the two color pallets make for a fantastic display. For Halloween, we plan to flip to the up-side-down and light it with just the right amount of creepy purple lights!
The mini figures are wonderful and many with unique elements. However, by far the standout is Dustin; it’s a near perfect Lego version of the actor! It’s a delight!
This set comes just in time for you to start binge watching seasons 1 & 2 before season 3 hits this July...and why not have this set to play with during the new season!
Here’s to hoping for a few more Stranger Things sets...we need justice for Barb!!!

This has got to be one of the most creative sets from Lego I’ve ever seen. Very fitting for a show as amazing as Stranger Things. Only thing I’m bummed about is there’s no Nancy, Steve, Jonathan or Barb minifigs. I assume they’ll come in future sets.
