worse build ever
on May 18, 2019

This is the woese set I have ever purchased. The directions are wrong and show things that are not there. When you try to assemble the final step the junk falls to pieces. I wish I could get my money back. I have assembled over 300 sets and never came across directions that showed things wrong and such flimsy togetherness. Very disappointed.

Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear that you had a frustrating experience with your set. Errors in the building instructions are quite rare, but if you ever do spot one, please let Customer Service know.

As for the set coming apart at the final stage, that may be a sign that something was just a little off earlier in the build, which prevented everything from connecting like it should. Our brick experts would also be happy to help troubleshoot with you. You can get in touch at LEGO.com/Service.

bad set

this set is difficult to build and is so freaking delicate I built it all and when trying to connect the trees to the sides the bottom of the house just fell off onto the ground. Also the roof connects in a weird way and doesn't stick well. The structure system for the front porch is very weak and the pieces constantly break off

We're sorry to hear the set wasn't quite to your liking.

As the title of the set indicates, the set can be turned upside down to be placed in your favorite position. It's important that the pieces are sturdy and well-connected. An audible clicking sound should be heard when attaching the pieces.

If you experience any quality issues with your set, please get in touch with our customer service team at LEGO.build/Service-BV.

A fun set for a big fan.

I haven't built a lego set in many years and this was so much fun. I'm a huge fan of the show so I instantly bought this, hoping I'd be able to handle the build. It was a long process but it ultimately was totally doable. The set is very stable and I didn't end up with many missing pieces at all. I believe I only had one block that wasn't included in my pack, but it was easily replaced with other extras from previous parts of the build. All in all, I had a great time putting this together and I love having this on display.

Most Infuriating Set

My daughter has built many complicated sets and loved this one... until it came time to put the two halves together. It completely fell apart. She rebuilt it with with me and same thing. The third time we were able to get the trees on. BUT when we sat the structure up, things started coming loose for the house on bottom. We flipped it to get the structure stable and the other house (now on bottom) started coming loose. I laid the structure on its side (same way you're supposed to snap the trees on) and the entire thing collapsed.

Hi there! Thanks for the review. I can imagine how frustrating it is to have your set come apart, and I'm sorry that you've had a disappointing experience. Because of The Upside Down's unique shape, it's really important for the build that everything be in exactly the right spot, and that every piece is pressed tightly together. Something even a little out of place could throw things off. If you need a hand troubleshooting the build, our brick experts are always happy to help. You can get in touch at LEGO.com/Service.

Not sturdy, or possible faulty design

Everything went great with building, until the last step where you hook the two pieces together. The Pilar’s were so loose that the whole thing began to fall apart. I took a step back and fixed both sides. When I tried again the same thing happened the Pilar’s are so loose that they fall off with the roof at the slightest touch.
