Awesome, Unique Set for Stranger Things Fans

Overall, I would recommend this set to any fan of Stranger Things. It really does capture the show in a single set pretty well.
MINIFIGS
The minifigs are honestly one of the highlights. The Dustin minifig is fantastic and by far the best, followed up by Lucas. The only one that was a little disappointing was Eleven.

THE BUILD
The designer nailed Hopper's policy truck. It's probably one of the best vehicle builds out there. They really could sell Hopper and his truck as a standalone set.

The build of the house and upside version of the house is really great too. There are a ton of small details the pulled form the show that really add to making this the Byers house as opposed to just another random Lego house.
The concept of building this as a right side up and upside down house is great - it makes it one of the more unique sets I've ever built.
Structurally it is pretty sound, though connecting the tree trucks to the house was a little challenging. I tended to knock off small pieces like the lamps when bracing the house against the trunk that I was pressing into it.
PLAYABILITY
While the structure is sound enough to play with the set, I view this one more as a display set than anything else.

Never-Ending LEGO!

This is the best LEGO set I have ever gotten! If you are a fan of the Netflix series like me, then you will 100% like this set! It comes with the main characters as LEGO Minifigures, and you can even turn the whole set upside down like in the show! This set is amazing and clever, and it is a must for Stranger Things fans!

Rediscovering my first love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted this set so bad, so since I was turning 40 this year I put it on my wish list and I got it! I enjoyed every minute of this spectacular build.

As a huge Stranger Things fan, I loved building this set. It was probably the most difficult one I’ve made to date but the thought and detail that went into creating it was so worth the effort. I hope they make another one with Jonathan, Steve and Nancy.

While recovering from ankle surgery, my wife purchased this set to keep me occupied while I was off my feet. Since this was my first build since helping our son with his lego sets many many years ago, I wasn’t sure of what to expect, but I was blown away by the detail and thought that went into the set’s creation. Instructions were very detailed and easy to follow provided you took your time. I still had to disassemble the build a few times to fix mistakes, but in the end, it all came together and I had no issues with the porch or roof tiles as some builders had reported. It has held up well two years after building, and has been flipped or rotated numerous times without pieces coming off, or the house on the bottom coming loose.
Overall, as a display piece the build is incredible. The mini figures are spot on, the little details like the porch swing, bear trap, and missing poster really pay homage to the show. Good value for the money, and challenging without being impossible. Highly recommended!!
