BIG Stranger Things fan!

Being a fan of Stranger Things this set excited me. I had a blast building it and the flip concept for both The Real and The Upside Down is awesome! Nothing I've seen b4. The minifigs are amazing!
Is it playable? Not in my opinion. Even having it stationary parts like to fall off the trees or whichever side you have underneath. We bought it to save and display and for that, it's perfect!

Fantastic for lego fans and Stranger Things fans

I loved putting together this set! I will admit, the reason it took me a bit longer than I usually take is the repetativeness of this particular build...also I wanted to rewatch the series while I worked! The details are fabulous and the little nods to the episodes are charming. The set is challanging but with a worthwhile reward. I honestly expected the light feature to look cheap, but it didn't and complimented the set well. If I had to make one request it would be that one day they come out with a Barb mini fig!

I honestly don't know what the problem is with some people rating the set 1 Star... the set is great and it stays in place! if you're not too experienced and missed pieces, then yes it will fall-a-part, follow directions carefully and you will have a masterpiece in the end.

It’s dark in the Upside Down!

Purchased this set to build with my wife as we’re both huge fans of the show. We took our time and spread the build out over many nights while we re-watched S1 & most of S2. We’ve built several Creator Expert models, but this was our first big LEGO house/building of any sort. The set is clearly beautiful filled with awesome details & mini figures, but the beautiful details require careful attention or you’ll discover something doesn’t line up in the end. Additionally, the Upside Down version of the home has incredibly dark color selection for good artistic reason. Everything kind of just looks black in the instructions unless you have a lot of light. So, have your phone or some other light source handy. Also, the trees are surprisingly sturdy but are painstaking to build. Overall, great concept, excellent build, and great display piece for any fan.

best lego set ever made

i have loved this show since the beginning and i also love buidling lego sets and was wondering if they were ever going to make a stranger things one. when lego finally did, i was super happy. i saved up my money and bought one of my own. it is by far the most challenging, but also the best lego set i have ever built. i hope that lego creates even more sets like this

This is by far one of my favorite set I've put together since rediscovering my love for Lego builds as an adult. I didn't find that placing the trees onto the houses was terribly difficult. I could see if one or two pieces were out of place how it would prove to be incredibly challenging. As long as you're precise then you should be good to go with this. Loved everything about it!

A specific item wanted by a 10 yr old grandson

This was purchased as a birthday present for my grandson who turned 10. He has Lego items since he was an infant and enjoys the complexity that the older recommended kits show. He put it together after school and on the weekends following his birthday. He said it was a perfect gift.

Fantastic set

This is my favorite lego set. The detail and design is wonderful. It is perfectly sturdy and flips over back and forth with no problems. Fun build. I purchased a light set for it so we can see the detail at night as well. Thanks for making this set lego! Refuses to upload photo :(
