I don't know why Lego waited to do stranger things sets until now, because this is amazing! This is my biggest set right now and I am very pleased with this. The figures are all instantly recognizable and well detailed, Hoppers car looks exactly like the real thing, the exterior of the house(s) are pretty much spot on to the show. The interior is jam packed with references and play ability. The "shark poster" is a very nice touch. You can even separate the houses and display them individually (It is a tiny bit of a challenge) but I cant recommend this set enough, and I really hope Lego makes more of these sets with the rest of the figures in the future!

This Lego is amazing!!!!!!!! It looks just like the box says and is defenitly worth the money!!! The box says 16+ but I honestly think that if u have build a 800+ Lego before and you are above the age of 12-13 it shouldn't be that challenging. Now it is veryyyyyyyyy time consuming so if u are lokking for a Lego that will take less than a month to complete this Lego is not the one to get. It took me almost 4 months to make and I was only doing it on weekends due to school. This Lego is one of the best purchases I've ever made and looks really cool!!! I recommend buying it!!!

Interesting challenging set

A very interesting and challenging set. It looks easy but not. Very detail, the favorite features from this set are the light brick! Wishing they have more interior accessories of the house.
The most challenging part is when you have to connect the 2 worlds together after building the trees. The characters are almost the same from the series. Great build and a very fun creative set!

This is by far one of the best sets around. The details are incredible. There is so much going on here and yet it's not too crowded or busy. The sturdiness of the set is better than you expect. It's really well designed. Highly recommend.

The Upside Down is a Great Set!

I love when Lego comes out with a set that is original & like no other. This is one of those sets. It looks fantastic when completed. I built it when it first came out. It is challenging. This is not for young kids or people new to Lego. It takes time & patience on some parts to make sure everything comes together correctly. Some people said that it kept falling over. I found that the key was that it didn’t balance correctly until the very end, when you add the car. It needs the weight of the car to keep it upright. Also, it takes a little time to figure out how the tree leaves work; how they fit together so they don’t keep coming apart or falling off. It’s an unusual piece & a great piece to display once completed. But it is very delicate, so put it somewhere where nothing will bump into it.

I have many big LEGO sets but this one is still my favorite. It's such a great design incorporating the upside down concept of the show. Every little detail of this home reminds me of things in the show. I hope LEGO releases more items with niche/new/pop IPs that are not Marvel DC or Star Wars.
