Must get before it retires.

So I actually got this set for my boyfriend and it was our first Lego set to build as a adult. My boyfriend really joyed every second of it besides the instructions. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because he complained that the brown and dark brown were poorly shown on the steps. so he had a hard time completing the dark parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great first adult build

This was the first set that my husband and I have bought for ourselves. It was much fun and more intricate than we were anticipating.
It's really not "playable" because it's fragile, But when you're spending this kind of money I don't really think you're buying it to play with. We just purchased the lighthouse to work on next.

Love this set, great Idea by the original creator! Love the various rooms on the treehouse itself, and the ability to change the leaves too!

This is a little larger than my previous Lego projects so I took my time. Now just need to find an appropriate place to display it as my office is running out of space.

Very nice display piece. Can't play much with it without knocking stuff off. Came with enough extra pieces to make lots of other things, for example I made a smoking pipe for my Gandalf figure. Loved the autumn colors so much, I ordered extra autumn color pieces to turn my castle and Shire sets into fall time as well. Thanks

Fun but Fragile

This is a great build, tons of detail. Very pretty to look at. However it is not really playable, it is way too fragile. I have had to rebuild the houses a few times because they fall off easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!
