Neat and easy to clean

This neat easy to clean 30” slide-in electric range, is a perfect addition to our kitchen. A high powered induction cooktop with one eye that has a steady temperature and a fryer oven is perfect for us in a small house. It’s clean lines and surface reflects what one would expect in a range. It was had a little expensive price point but was worth it compared to other ranges of the same caliber.

Love almost everything

First off, I’m new to Induction. I’ve been on gas almost all my life, but gas was not an option in our recently purchased home. So I decided to make the plunge into Induction, and I might say that I like it even more than gas. And with the knobs on the front and accessible to my young children, I especially like how nothing heats up (and no combustible gasses are released) unless there is something there to heat up.
As for the features of the oven, I’ve been enjoying baking with the temperature probe. Set it to the temperature you want, and it alerts you when it’s reached. I like the app… remote preheating and the camera are nice to have.
But precision cooking on the range could need some improvement. There is only one eye that does it without purchasing special pots and pans. I’m not going to do that. It’s not that important to me. But I’ve tried to use this one eye with precision (just once or twice), and I don’t know if I don’t understand what is doing or it’s just doing it poorly. I’ll set it to a temperature, it alerts me that it’s preheated, but the temperature shown on the app is nowhere near where I’ve set it. So I dial it up and hope to get close to what I really wanted.
And this one precision eye has this plastic button in the center of it that just looks odd. What’s worse is that without a flat pan that presses it all the way down, the eye won’t function at all, with or without the precision. This would not be a problem for most pans, but this eye is also part of the dual eye griddle control. And my griddle was a reversible one. So the bottom was not flat, it did not press the button fully in, and therefore my griddle was rendered useless. I had to buy a new one that was not reversible and completely flat on the bottom. Try to find that online. I did, after some trial and error.
And I had to call to find out what this button is even for. As it turns out, it’s for the precision cooking. It’s a thermometer. This call is also how I learned about the special pots and pans that are required for using precision with the other eyes. Better documentation would be nice. But what really irks me is that I can think of no good reason to disable the eye when this thermometer button is not fully depressed. This “feature” rendered my perfectly good cast iron griddle useless. And why?
All said, I know it sounds like I hate the oven, but I really love it. I’m just overly critical of what I perceive to be design flaws. Minus one star for the thermometer button.

Pricey for the features

I was looking for a 30" slide in induction range with a baking drawer and a temp probe, so wound up getting this unit. I should have researched a bit more and will likely be switching this out. First, it is far too deep for a slide in unit and sticks out quite a bit. It has the vent and a weird button on the top, which are unsightly and will be messy, I am sure. It does not overlap the counter like most slide ins. And it only has warming drawer,not baking. Also, very few functions-no dehydration on the oven and the lowest setting is 170 degrees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features

I really enjoy this range more than I thought. It was difficult to set up since I’m not tech savvy and I had to buy induction pans which is why I won’t give it a 5. However, the heat is unbelievable and things cook fast and well. The oven has different ways to cook things and even has an air fryer which I have yet to perfect but with practice I’m sure dishes will start to come together more easily. I’m enjoying cooking again.

This appliance is fantastic. My last oven lasted 20 years and I only considered another one when parts were no longer available. I spent a long time deciding what type of stove that I wanted before I bought this one. I am so happy with my decision. The induction heats up so quickly dinners are made fast. The convection is so quiet you don’t know that you are even using it. I really like the application for my phone.

Moving from a gas stove to an induction stove does mean getting used to slightly different cooking times. The air fry is a great success

Overall I am happy with this product. The precision cooking could use some tweaking because the temperature seems to be off somewhere around 50 degrees. Still having issues getting the oven camera function to show up on the Smart HQ all.
