This appliance is not for the faint hearted! It connects to an APP and updates new software periodically. It requires speacialized cookware for the stove top. It is induction! It is a learning curve but I think I am learning to love it though!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful range with great features

Have had this beautiful range for two months. So far it is working flawlessly. It is an induction range, so yes, your cookware must be magnetic, and yes, it makes some buzzing-type noises. Our experience with the noise is in line with other induction ranges we have used. I am a big proponent of induction cooking in general so these factors are not an issue for me.
I've seen some repeated comments and questions about certain topics so I thought I'd clarify from my experience with this range:
- Yes, there is an Air Fry feature and I am able to turn on this mode directly from the range itself.
- I am able to turn on the convection bake and convection roast modes directly from the range itself.
- The range did not include a sous vide probe.
- I do not own any smart cookware, so my experience with the precision cooking modes is limited to the left front burner with the built-in sensor. This sensor works well.
- I don't find the in-oven camera to be particularly useful.
- The Chef Connect feature that will automatically turn on the overhead light on the microwave is great.
- I have not had any issues accidentally bumping the control panel when reaching for the back burners. When wiping the control panel clean, it will cause the menus or burners to be activated. For me this is a minor annoyance, especially since the burners will not actually "turn on" unless there is cookware placed on the burner.
- The storage drawer is incredibly easy to open and close, even with heavy items contained within.

Burner broke after 5 months

While it was great while it worked, one burner broke after 5 months of normal use. I expected more reliability for this price range as a premium line of product from GE.

Worthwhile purchase

The product received has met my expectations and has features I am looking forward to trying. While there are a few items that could be improved (oven camera adjusts to a very low aperture, making it near impossible to actually gain value from it) everything has been a delight so far.
As with all induction tops, you need to use compatible pans- and while this will mean additional purchases in some situations, it is worthwhile, especially when it comes to large pots. My 9 quart pot gets to a vigorous boil in just over 5 minutes on the power boiler. The smaller elements are slightly slower, but other than when making rice, this is not a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE (Cafe) Appliances increased the price and removed the warming drawer - leaving only a storage drawer. Increase profits and reduce amenities is what GE did. Take advantage of the opportunity they are.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Stove

Great stove with Great Features. I am a big fan of induction cooking so this stove fit the bill exactly. I had a gas stove that was adequate but it took a long time to heat the pan and food. Plus the fumes that were being generated in my tight house was just not working.
The finish and color of my new range fits well with my kitchen matching all my other appliances. The fit was close but slid right into my old stove space. Did not have to worry about having to do a lot of retro fit work.
The Precision temperature feature worked well for making the pudding for the coconut cream pie. I was able to set the temperature for my filling and it was cooked to perfection. I used the temperature probe for the oven to insure that my meatloaf was at the perfect done temperature. Syncing the two left burners for my griddle allowed me to do the best pancakes. Instead of one at a time using the pan, I was able to do four at a time with the griddle and the synched burners. Great feature.
The stove is quiet, the controls are easy to use, clean up is a breeze. Just wipe it off and you are done. No burner racks to clean off or move. Rolling rack in the oven is great. Smooth even action when it is pulled from the oven to place your pan in the oven. And it is movable so it can be at the bottom of the oven or at the top.
Great stove. I didn't think that the WIFI Smart Home feature would be useful but the first time I was into making a cake and realized that I had not started the over. A quick response to Google and the oven was on and heating. I could keep my attention on the cake mixer. Seems a bit silly but the first time you use the feature you will be sold on it.
