Worthwhile purchase

The product received has met my expectations and has features I am looking forward to trying. While there are a few items that could be improved (oven camera adjusts to a very low aperture, making it near impossible to actually gain value from it) everything has been a delight so far.
As with all induction tops, you need to use compatible pans- and while this will mean additional purchases in some situations, it is worthwhile, especially when it comes to large pots. My 9 quart pot gets to a vigorous boil in just over 5 minutes on the power boiler. The smaller elements are slightly slower, but other than when making rice, this is not a problem.

Beautiful Equipment Poor Function

I purchased in June 2023 and received 8/21/ 2023. The induction top started performing poorly on 10/26/2023. The front right burner no longer works and the font left power boil burner won’t stay on with my pans. It is really frustrating knowing that I can’t fully use the cook top because the pans aren’t heavy enough or something to keep the large cooktop going.

Not real pleased so far, but still getting started

It is a little difficult to set up. I have not been able to connect my HestanCue pans yet. The touch knobs dont seem to have the variantion flexability I imagined. The burners are too sensitive to the pan placement. Basically all I have is a 1 aburner stove so far. A stove that expensive should come with the temp probe for the oven, lcant believe I have to buy one.

We want to help out with connecting your pans and with the touch knobs. You can check out page 15 inside the user manual. This section goes over the steps to get Bluetooth devices connected. When it works

Twice the oven has locked and the only way to turn it off was at the breaker. Today none of the burners work. Of course they timed it so it’s out of warranty. I will not buy GE again.

We don’t like that we can’t use our old pots on the cookware. It needs to be magnetic only thing we don’t. If you move the pot the burner turns a little frustrating.

Easy to keep clean!

I love to cook on a gas range, however, in wanting to upgrade our current electric range, to plumb for propane would have been costly. I researched induction ranges after a friend suggested I do so. I went into a store to see one and decided to go with the induction style. I chose a convection oven, which I have had in the past and missed it's features, and I really liked the idea of no knobs which I found on the GE Cafe. It took nine months to arrive, the oven light did not work (which we fixed eventually), and the spacer did not arrive with the range and had to be ordered... another nine months? I hope not. So far I LOVE it. Easy to clean, and the burners respond like gas without the mess. The racks in the oven are enameled, thus, easy to keep clean. With moving toward renewable energies, induction is a wise choice. I highly recommend this range.
