[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best TV i've ever bought with clarity and colors. The original one I ordered ended up getting dead and stick pixels all over it, but due to warranty, i got a convenient replacement. The replacement has been working perfectly for months now and I have no problems with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a year ago, have spent some time fine tuning the picture settings and I must say that this is the best TV I’ve ever owned. It’s hard to walk into another persons house and see a regular LED TV. I’m spoiled by the gorgeous black levels and colors. Not to mention the design is great! Screen is shiny but not overly reflective and the bezels are very small so sometimes the picture at night seems to look like a projection. Love WEBos (although it needs HBO MAX).
Intuitive and easy to adjust settings and all the ports you could need. 4K Blu-ray’s look astonishing, ps4 gaming in HDR looks crisp and fast, streaming is fantastic and quick to launch. It even has a port to connect my old GameCube which is awesome! I wish it still had 3D because I have some left over movies I would love to experience in 3D.
Spectacular picture and super happy with the TV. Also the burn in precautions are great! Screensaver comes in all the time when the tv is on pause so I don’t have to worry about damage. Would 1000% recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV was relatively easy to set up and had a great picture and decent sound such that I didn't feel the need for a sound bar. However, after just 8 months, is stopped working while watching it. When I called LG to report it (under warranty), was assigned to a local repair shop who called me within a day. They gathered information to determine whether parts were needed and decided 3 parts having to do with the power supply were needed. However, the parts were on backorder for nearly 3 months. They advised me to call LG back as if more than 30 days for parts to arrive, they will offer refund or exchange. That process took 3 calls to get straight, including two stints of waiting on hold for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I got confusing emails from LG, simply ignoring them as I wanted the refund. The last email said part found and could be available in a month so I called back and said "no, I want a refund". That resulted in an email saying it could be up to 5 weeks for a refund, but when I called the person assigned, they explained it was much easier---they said a FedEx label would be emailed to me within 3-5 business days and indeed I got one. I was fortunate to have saved my box and styrofoam as I packed it, called Fed Ex, and had it picked up in a day. When it is received by LG they will mail me a check. Overall, without the TV for 17 days. I decided to give LG a second chance and purchased the LG CX model which had its price reduced just $50 more than what I paid for the B9. So in the short run, I'll be out about $2,000 until the check arrives, but since I paid for the new TV by credit card, no big deal. In sum, LG picture quality is outstanding. Customer service (starting with lack of very good instructions in box) worked and staff were always courteous, but disjointed. My new CX has the same great picture, with a much heavier base (B9 was plastic and maybe weighed 1 pound- CX base is metal with a front flange and probably weighs over 10 pounds)---otherwise, setup identical. If CX lasts with no incidents for 5 years, I'll give that a 5 star review. If I have an issue within 5 years, I will pay a little more and go with Sony.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best looking TV I have even had. When friends are over, they immediately take notice and ask.
Contacted warranty on December 23, 2020 finally got it working on February 5,2021. Response was fairly good, Service Tech was great , parts availability slow. We had a bad screen which means at least two service trips LG will not replace on first try no matter how obvious the issue. They did make it right other than lots of time no out of pocket. Be warned you have to remove and put back the TV on your own or PAY them to do it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with this tv in fact I have purchased two more for other rooms in the house. The picture is beautiful. Only give four stars as there are certain apps that don’t work with this TV with out some sort of work around. HBO max initially had an issue but has been resolved, but ESPN+ doesn’t connect directly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had this for about 10 days, but it is amazing so far. Incredible picture. Easy to set up (except for Alexa, which is probably an Amazon issue). I hesitated on getting an oled because our room is pretty bright. Has not been an issue at all. Highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture is great when watching 4K content but when watching live tv the images are blurry. Not good for sports or fast action live tv. Disappointed considering the price.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
