[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 1/2 year old 65" OLED died. Thank GOD I bought a service contract. It was replaced with a 65 B9.
I had options in regards to the replacement TV. I did a great deal of research. LED/LCD was not an option. It is an inferior TV technology. Sony OLED seemed needlessly expensive.
I am lovin this TV set. It is brighter, faster and more clear than my previous OLED. The picture is amazing. If you are on the market for an extremely high end TV but are trying to maintain a budget, I can't imagine a better TV than the 65 B9.
We like this TV so much that we are going to buy a 55 B9 for a different room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a difference in the detail and color from my former 1080 TV. I really enjoy watching movies and TV shows. I would give it five stars but we had one problem with the optical connection. We plugged the optical cable into the tv and one of us turned for the next step and bumped the cable near the connection. The clip that holds the cable into the TV broke. It seemed like a weak design. All we could think to do was try to tape it in place and hope it didn't move. So far so good but I'm afraid it is only a matter of time. Otherwise I would highly recommend this or another LG TV to friends and family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to buy this TV online and sight unseen, but I did. It has turned out to be a very good decision. It’s simply the best TV picture I’ve ever seen. My biggest worry was having it delivered undamaged and functional. Well, no worries there either, this thing was double boxed and the inside box was a styrofoam/bubble wrap wonder. The outside box looked like it had taken some good hits, but the inside box was pristine.
As to performance, the Smart TV function is easy and my only complaint is that there’s no Apple TV app. (I’ve read it’s coming).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture when watching 4K quality, but unfortunately there isn’t a lot out there. Cable and sports are same as my old Sony 4K tv.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this Tv for about 2 weeks and are very satisfied. I was actually looking at an LG Nano but saw the two sets side by side and was immediately drawn to oled. The picture is brighter and the dark colors are true. What really impressed me was ease of setup. I’m 63 and although I navigate everyday tech life, I was concerned about setting up a new tv, but it couldn’t have been much easier with the step by step tutorial. I was so happy with this one, I went out and bought another LG for my basement work out room
