I can only say that I know enough to say that OLED is the way to go for the clearest, sharpest, colorful tv viewing and LG is your best bet. Finally, price has dipped well below the $2k threshold and I could take the plunge with complete satisfaction. All the higher quality benefits as expected plus a surprising ease of use of the many features in the Smart TV/AI build. Definitely, now our favorite "go to" tv for the best viewing experience. Only complaint is that because viewing is based on a streaming service we are subject to periodic less than satisfactory picture quality, but I'm not blaming the OLED55B9PUA for that. All in all, couldn't be more satisfied.

Each color is deep and rich and the contrast, sharp and clear. We viewed some National Geographic programs, animals in their habitat, and the LG screen represented the terrific photography terrifically.
