Great Watch

i reveiwed this brand a few days ago realizing today i wrote a review for a different color and size. after owning my 40mm rose gold, bluetooth, active 2 watch for almost a year now, i can say that i love it and that i’m enjoying it. i like how you can download the different faces and change the band if i wanted to. i can also appreciate when it automatically detects a workout, reminds me to be active after an hour of inactivity. seeing the notifications when i reach my daily step goals and my percentage of activity goals as well is so encouraging. the battery life is amazing also. other than that, the only thing i wish that i can do is respond to text messages but hey! what can i say when i have most apple products but a samsung watch!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Watch band lasted longer than the watch

15 months old and the screen is dead. watch has been cared for very well. i enjoyed it while it lasted.

Favorite watch ever

i've had 3 samsung smart watches. everyone of them have been great, however, this one is my absolute favorite. i have a cellular line with it and i can go without my phone, and still receive notifications and phone calls. i really like the health tracking, especially the swimming and running features. i can swim with it! imagine that! something i couldn't with my other smart watches. i like the color, the durability, the ease of use, the slimness of it! what's not to like about this watch! i've had this watch over a year and i cannot imagine what i did without it. :)

Very poor construction-DISAPPOINTED

after going into my wireless carrier's retail store to purchase a different activity tracker, i was sold on purchasing the active2. i was excited because i trust samsung products and have been a consumer for several years now. this watch was so disappointing! after just a couple weeks of wear the band began to show signs of wear. i ordered replacements and continued my daily wear. with just over a year of use, the back of the watch all of a sudden came off. whatever cheap glue that was used to adhere it to the sensor basically melted, or disintegrated. of course it is now out of warranty, and the only solutions are to pay for repair (more cheap glue i presume), or trade it in and upgrade only to pay an additional $200 for the new one (which is also likely to have the same cheap glue).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not impressed with the battery life

the battery lasts 24 hours at best. not impressed. also, the sleep ap and other samsung health ap features do not seem to be very accurate.
the watch needs rethinking.

Do not swim or exercise with it!

it's a watch to track your exercise. it has some great apps and pairs nicely with samsung health on your samsung phone. only problem is the watch malfunctions with sweat and a splash of water. i've never been in a pool or body of water to truly test out their claim of "it can withstand depths of 5 feet for up to 30 minutes", but i wouldn't do it if i were you. you'll void your warranty and your heart rate and other sensors will stop working after a splash of water and some sweat.

Could be great. But it's not

for the most part, i love the style and function of this watch. but i have 2 issues. first issue is no bezel. my last galaxy watch had one and protected from accidental touches and also provided a layer of protection for the screen. 2nd issue is how sensitive this watch is to accidental touches. i wear long sleeves at work. and throughout my day, i constantly feel my wrist buzzing from my sleeve touching my screen. it sets alarms, changes the watch face, starts timers, creates events, and most recently, it turned my bluetooth off. like seriously annoying. i wish there was a way to change sensitivity. when i'm off work and in short sleeves, it's a decent watch. but at work, where i use alot of the functions, i'm constantly having to undo operations that my sleeve performs on my watch.
