Mostly positive with a few drawbacks

when i ordered the watch the specifications said it could measure blood pressure, but that app has now yet been released. some notifications ring a chime but never show up on the screen to tell you what it was and if you happen to get into a multiple person text list it chimes once for each member it's sending a reply (a bit aggravating). bluetooth interference from nearby devices can cause erratic effects as well. i do like the majority of the functions and can't wait for the blood pressure app. after reading other reviews i don't plan on getting the watch wet if i can help it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great overall watch. the calorie tracker rounds up based on the heart rate monitor which estimates your heart during workouts. yet, the sleep tracker is pretty good as the watch does great with tracking resting heart rate.

Partially Android compatible

Bought this watch after reading it is Android compatible. This is not true. Many features, such as EKG, are blocked from being used unless you buy Samsung's Galaxy phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i recently got the watch and i like it. you can do lots with the watch which i like. i'm used to the fitbit and this is definitely an upgrade. however, the battery does not last long at all. it says it can last a day or so but i find myself needing to charge it every day. it's kinda inconvenient. overall, it's a good product just wish the battery lasted longer.

Comfortable watch, mostly good features

the wrist band is comfortable, the watch is attractive, the watch face and watch face options are good. the syncing to my phone works well. the fitness tracking is mostly good, but sometimes the screens jump around and the tracking is off, for example when swimming laps, or taking a break from swimming and just walking in the pool between laps. i was disappointed that i need to jump through app hoops to get a blood pressure measurement. i found adding apps and widgets a challenge but that may be because i am not a young wiz.

IOS limited, Samsung phone great

i am forced via work to use ios. i understand ios being a closed system, allowing only interfaces what apple makes a public api. with ios can get notifications, make calls, control a music player, track health data, but health data does not go into apple health apps.
samsung artificially limits features to ios users. samsung claims compatibility issues with ecg and ios. ecg works totally on the watch. the health monitor app only enables ecg, backing up and sending the ecg to you healthcare professional. this could be implemented in the ios app, they choose not to.
i want ecg but am stuck with apple, so i use the watch standalone, initially connecting to my wife s20 to enable the features, but then disconnecting.
i would recommend for samsung phone users, not for ios users.
