Useless Paperweight

This "fitness" watch is a mess. The heart rate sensor is a complete joke. My heart rate during a run is typically far below, 20 to 30 bpm, my heart rate when I am walking. I also never receive credit for the number of floors I climb during the day.
Additionally why does this device require so many apps to function. My Versa only ever required one app to function. And my Versa was also far more reliable. I wish I would not have tricked by Samsung's reputation for great products and the belief that an ECG would mean an even better fitness device. Especially since the ECG will probably never be activated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unreliable GPS and bluetooth

I was excited about this watch but ended up returning it. While it looks great, the GPS is poor and didn't work half the time on my runs. Downloading Spotify was nice, but the device bluetooth is weak and it cuts out constantly if you aren't holding the watch close to your headphones. I was using it with Samsung's newest headphones so it shouldnt have been such a poor experience. The Strava app didn't have an always on screen mode, and even after I changed the screen timeout to 60 seconds, it would hide the screen faster than I could read what was shown during running mode.
Bottom line: This product is not ready for active users and you should avoid this if you care about GPS and music over bluetooth
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an excellent upgrade from the Gear Sport that I had been using for the past year or so. I already loved the Gear Sport but this watch is awesome! It already has all the great features of the Gear Sport but now I have speakers that I can answer and make calls right from the watch. I'm still trying to learn what Bixby can do to make using the watch easier. I love the new light weight design since the Gear Sport was quite heavy with the stainless steel watch face. Although the stainless steel is much sturdier than the aluminum, the new lighter style gives a more comfortable feeling wearing it every day, all day. I love the new watch band it comes with. I didn't like the band the Gear Sport came with but the Active2's band is really comfortable and soft. I actually don't want to buy a replacement band like I did with my previous watch. I love the different watch faces I can choose and I don't really need a lot of third party apps since everything I need is already on the watch. And yes, the bands are interchangeable and you can stream music with Spotify. I'm very happy with this watch.

Great watch, Aqua Black is pretty much blue though

I like the watch a lot. Very responsive compared to any WearOS watch and the display is great. Battery life is pretty good too. I'm glad the rotating bezel is kind of back. The only thing I don't like, and this is a big one in my mind, is that Aqua Black is pretty much Blue. I was expecting a black with a slight hint of Blue. Not the case. This is something you wear on your wrist everyday. Color matters. Pictures on the site when ordering don't really show you how Blue it is either. I'm hoping to find a bumper or something to put on it to make it actually Black because I am not shelling out any extra money for the LTE version.

This is an excellent product for me. I can't speak for anyone else, but it's the right size display, looks good, if fact I have kept the orginal band. Except for the "Iwatch" I've tried alot of smartwatches and trackers.
Active 2 has the ability to track fitness, provides very good smartwatch features and looks great.
Highly recommend.

I've been using the watch for a month and the battery life is phenomenal. I get 2 days with constant heart rate measurement and always on display. The sleep tracking function can be very useful. Samsung pay works as expected. The digital bezel is very responsive and makes this watch look pretty sleek. The only complaint I have is the internal memory should have been higher than 4 GB. I highly recommend this watch.

I just recieved my watch been wearing t for the last 2 days or so. It's the bes! As a first time smartwatch user, it definitely made it easy to navigate and use. Haven't gotten through all the featurs but so far so good.
