I am obsessed with this watch. I had the gearfit 2 for years. Upgraded to this one, the animation makes fitness even more enticing. So many features have been updated. 5 plus stars

No notifications when phone on vibrate

Worst thing about this watch is that you cant get notifications when your phone is on vibrate. There are times needing your phone on vibrate and I would still like to see my notifications. Might be enough to send it back and go back to my fit bit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Samsung for over 10 years now. I have plenty of their phones, watches, televisions in the past. I would totally recommend Samsung to anyone who was inquiring about there products. I love the new galaxy watch. I previously had the galaxy sport before I received this one. I love the design it is real sleek and not bulky like the previous models. The only thing I wish was better is the battery life. Granted, I do use it very often but charging it every other day is a hassle. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, that battery-life needs some improvement!

An Unbelievable watch

I switched from my long awaited Fit bit Versa. This watch blows Fit Bit out the water. It can do everything my top of the line smart phone can do. I looked at a you tube video that spoke to all of the features. The video had me spellbound.Keep up the good work Samsung.

The phone is great and has a lot of cool stuff, but the battery life is bad and the pictures are bad, when you zoom in you see pixel dots. My j7 aura kept charge for 2 days plus and with the note 10 plus I have to charge daily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very frustrated that there is still no ECG

The watch is fine but it was advertised as having an ECG and fall detection. Neither of these things is actually on the watch and no one seems to know if/when that update is coming. I wouldn't have made the purchase had I know these features are non existant.

I swapped from being a long time fitbit user to getting the active 2. I opted to get the 44mm watch face and I honestly don't regret it. At first it was interesting to get used to after having a fitbit versa but I really enjoy the larger screen. I also really enjoy how interactive the watch can be. One of my favorite features to use is Good Night mode for bed time. I also really like that i can respond to my Message+ text's. Generally I get anywhere between 2 and a half days to 3 our of my watch unless I am frequently messing with it or using it for workouts.
I am not super thrilled about how short the charging cable itself is, but I just hook it up to my laptop or find a spare charging block to plug it into. Charging isn't THAT fast (about 2+ hours to fully charge from about 10%) but that is also because I don't have any charging blocks (even samsung ones) that match the charging block requirements.
I would recommend this to a friend!
