Poor Battery

battery life would maybe last 6 hours before being completely drained. this was also on zero use other than just wearing it while sitting at a desk. switched to a fitbit and have had 6+ day battery life on a sibgle charge. this samsung is the worst purchase ive ever made and i ince bought heelys.
i love how the watch tracks my sleep, exercise, and movement throughout the day. there are so many options to personalize it to make it a positive experience for those who buy it and use it. it has helped me stay active and in shape during the quarantine (which is when i purchased it) and i will continue to use it going forward.
if im being 100% honest i wanted to get a apple watch series 5 but a friend had the galaxy active watch 2 and i fell in love with it.its the beat watch ive ever had i swear.auto workouts, sleep tracking, and best workout categories.you wont regret buying thats a promise!
I would recommend this to a friend!

i love the color and the ability to download watch faces. this is the first smart watch i have had and i am still learning how to use all of the functions.
i did extensive research before i settled on the active 2 and i have not been disappointed. the battery lasts about 2 days but i use the watch a lot. i love all the features and how well it syncs with my phone. i would definitely recommend if you have a galaxy phone.
bought it jan 20 by feb 4 it gave the first rebooting screen on its own. it restarted and was good until 1 week later when it started the rebooting loop of death. it powered off then rebooted then all over again for abt 2 hrs. contacted support who said reset w the phone app. it worked. march same thing but worse. besides rebooting loop it started major ghosting. nothing on the screen responded to touch. i left it off for 3 days. after that many features wouldn't work and still doesn't work in july! i can't scroll the apps, opens them up instead. i can't type text msgs, parts of the screen are dead to touch. 2 days ago it started rebooting and ghosting and no touch works. so basically a regular watch. if you get 1 that works like mine did for 1 month, its a terrific watch!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good smart watch, not a great fitness watch

works well enough as a smart watch for calls, text, etc.
spotify is terrible on this watch. i frequently have it tell me i have no songs downloaded. you have to re-start the watch to fix it.
really disappointed in the fitness functionality. i use it for running and the first mile distance and pace is wrong about 80% of the time. even after turning on the gps 10 minutes before my run it misses the first 2/10s (consistently this distance) of the mile even after starting a run manually. ignoring the first mile issues, it will quit in the middle of a run with no warning. this is also at a consistent point in the run: 1.3 miles in. no warning. nothing until you get ready to hear your second mile pace and it never gives you your splits.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for nursing students

this is a really nice watch. i like the style, it's not to big and bulky. i like that you can change the faces and there are many different ones to choose from. i'm in nursing school so the fact that i can leave the face on really helps when checking pulses. my only complaint is that the speaker started to sound strange when it would ring or when on a phone call.
