Band size WAY TO BIG!

the band is way to big for women with smaller wrists with about 1 in of space between my wrist and the watch. the website provides no specifications of actual band size other than the 20mm width to fit into the watch. i was informed samsung doesn't offer any smaller band size and i would have to purchase another band else where. if the price we are paying for the watch includes the band that comes with it, as a future suggestion to samsung they should offer different band sizes that comes with the watch as they did in the past with their fit watches. or have the watch sold individually allowing different size bands to be purchased after so we are not spending money on a band that we will never use. unfortunately i will have to return the watch.

i bought the watch active 2 to replace my gear fit2. i expected, based on advertising and reviews, to get an upgraded watch, especially in regard to the fitness aspects. the heart rate monitor while obviously not professional grade is worse than the gear fit2. it will stop monitoring during a workout. workout tracking will just randomly shut down. the calorie counting is also way off by several hundred calories. plus the promised ecg has not been added to the watch. restarting or resetting the watch over the last few months have not helped.
the smart watch part itself works but this watch was advertised as a fitness/active watch and it doesn't hold up to previous models and promises.

good upgrade

i upgraded from the galaxy watch. it's a good upgrade. functions better and the battery is great (depending on what you have the settings on and what you use it for). only gave it 4 stars because the color options suck as usual. i would have preferred a true black or silver. i hate the blueish tint on the black one.

Great watch but disconnects frequently

i loved this watch for the first few weeks i had it. now, it is constantly vibrating saying that i've disconnected from my phone, sometimes when they are on my nightstand right next to each other. i bought the watch strictly to be able to leave my actual phone up on my fireplace mantle out of the reach of my 4 and 2 year old but still be able to get texts and phone calls. the fitness tracker does not work very accurately. the flights of stairs tracker never gives any data.

Don't buy for health tracking

this product wouldn't know a stair if it hit it in the face. i live on the third and fourth floors of a building with no elevator and this watch never registers me going up stairs. i literally go up and down four stair cases daily and i'm lucky it registers one. fitbit works better. i just wear this to notify me about texts now.

the main reason i bought this watch is because i can answer phone calls, track my workouts and it's waterproof. waterproof comes in handy when you spend your summers floating in the pool and you are able to answer calls without having to jump out of the float to get to your phone.

dissapointed galaxy active 2 does not support google assistant and google pay. want to use the same apps as on my galaxy phone. because of this i don't wear it much.
