the watch has done a great job tracking my runs. it gives some insight that my old watch didn't offer. however the battery life isn't the best. it doesn't even last a full day. i've turned off features know to drain the battery, but i may be missing some.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ive been a fitbit users for 5 years, and samsung is much better. i love that it tracks more accurate and does not give me steps for sitting at my desk like a fitbit does. i really like the heart rate monitor and the built in gps. the battery life does suck, i get 3 days if i am just using it for daily routines and about 2 days if i am using the gps and exercise tracking. here is a big tip, put it in sleep mode at night and it only uses around 5% battery during the night

i have had my watch active 2 for about a month now, and am still very pleased with it. it is comfortable, light, and works efficiently. i would have given it 5 stars if there was a feature to allow the watch to rotate depending on which wrist you have it on. i prefer to wear my watches on my right arm, but the watch is only made for usage on left arms.

i am a strong fitbit user every since my samsung gear fit didn't work right. but i am a even stronger samsung product lover. so, when i got my son a samsung watch for christmas 3 years ago. it made me look at it. i have an fitbit versa 2 and never did i think anything would make me stop wearing it. when the new active 2 came out. it caught my eye. so, i got one. started out just wearing it on the weekend and it soon became my number 1 watch. love the style and shape of it. sorry fitbit you have been replace.

Great Smartwatch. Exceeded my expectations

really great watch: well designed and built, very functional, high resolution display, truly waterproof, already loaded with most/all apps you need, and plenty of watchfaces and apps to choose from the app store (many free). so many configurations possible to suit your specific likes and needs.
having purchased a couple of generic/cheaper watches, and having seen and played with my wife's really good fitbit versa light watch, this watch exceeded my expectations and is leaps above all others.
the only thing i can think of to improve would be:
- battery life: if you use it to its fullest, the battery will drain in a day or so. i tweaked my preferences and my battery lasts 2 to 3 days
- ecg: i am also eagerly awaiting samsung to enable the ecg feature

The Worse product ever

this watch is very terrible to the point where i have reset it more 10 times and it wont still connect to my iphone or my samsung s5 phone. this is a disgrace and i recently got this watch like 3weeks ago and its already not working.

It's ok, but I miss my Fitbit

when my fitbit died i "upgraded" to samsung for the smart watch capabilites. i chose this model because advert said i can track my swimming.
what i like: the band, specifically how it is secured- the variety of bands for purchase for more formal occasions-the find phone feature. love it- the variety of watch faces and the ability to change it instantly.
what i don't like: you can only choose 4 types of automatic workouts to store and there is nothing comparable to a zumba workout- apparently from looking at other reviews, i will not be able to swim with this- it does not transfer my stats to my weight watchers app (or any app aside from the samsung ones)-2 day battery life- it does not correctly keep track of stairs - it will pause while i'm walking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great integration with Samsung phones!

the health tracking is pretty good and the activity reminders are helpful though not necessarily the most responsive. mostly though, i love how well it is integrated with my samsung galaxy s10. notifications come through perfectly and alarms and things that would normally just be on my phone come through too, which is super cool and easy to control. i also love the versatility to respond to texts with voice or handwriting or any emoji instead of just a few responses.
definitely get a screen protector, though!! i got a scratch on the 3rd day of owning my watch, but luckily the screen protector i got hides it.
the battery life is also kinda short but i have found topping it off when i shower and/or just before bed to work perfectly. it lasts about a day and a half with a full charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!
