Fairly good watch until...

the watch isnt bad except it constantly unpaired from my device. sometimes while i was sitting next to it. speaker needs a volume control and i couldnt hear the person well. had to have the watch pretty much up to my mouth for them to hear me. the battery life sucks. i had to keep it on black and white battery saver mode to get any kind of battery life out of it. last night there was an update available.. after i clicked it my watch went crazy flashing a rebooting, then a black screen, then rebooting.. for the entire night until my watch died. wont turn back on. had this thing less than a year or around that. not worth the money i paid for it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is a great watch, love how slim it is and how long the battery last. it works great with no issues so far. i only had it for a few weeks but im loving it so far. would definitely recommend

i had the samsung gear 3 from 3 years ago, and this watch outdoes the performance from the gear3. the heart rate sensor is very attentive. counting steps is the most accurate i have seen. the battery life is great and i love the water lock feature. i use it when washing dishes at home! i have had 0 issues with this and i'm extremely happy and satisfied with mt purchase.

Best Smart Watch I've Ever Used

i love the look of this watch so much. before this one i had the samsung galaxy watch 46mm but that was too big and i didnt really like how bulky it was so i traded it in for this and im so happy i did! this watch is so comfortable and the battery lasted me one full weekend with 30% left to spare!!

i have had this watch for 5 months and although it's pretty awesome as far as notifications go, the power management is very poor. they claim it lasts 2 days but recently my watch has been going from 100% to shutting off within hours after charging. i look at my watch and it shows 75% after a few hours, but then minutes later i will get a notification that i have 15% left. within ten minutes of that, it shuts off with 0% left. fyi, support had me send my active 2 back so it is getting looked at by samsung right now. after 5 months! i will not be buying a samsung watch ever again.

NO ECG IF NO GALAXY PHONE

it's very important to note that the ecg/ekg functionality of this phone (and all other galaxy watches) only work if you have a samsung phone. this was the only reason for me to get this phone but now i'll need to go with the fitbit sense. i love this watch but really need this feature. samsung, you're not apple, you have the opportunity to sell a lot of products by offering a superior product that does not limit the ecosystem. you're not dealing with apple users. android users like choice and options and you're limiting that. please open this up to other phone users or you will start to see your market share in the watch space slip.

when i bought the galaxy watch active2 mid-june, i got it for the ecg feature which i needed due to some health concerns. i've patiently waited until it was rolled out, but now come to find out it requires a samsung phone to even use. honestly, this is extremely anti-consumer and i'm severely disappointed with samsung for this reason. on top of that, apparently june is too far back to get a refund. i'll think twice before buying a samsung product, and i'll be sure to warn all of my friends.
