Stair Count not working

the active 2 watch has been working great ----except----
the stair count function is not working. checked the web for fixes, nothing except the usual nonsense from samsung to reset everything, even though there there were dozens of messages from users who tried this with no result.

so now whether to send the watch back to samsung while it is still under warranty and hope that glitch is unique to my watch and not something that samsung has not gotten around to fixing in the software.
very frustrating!!!

have previously had the active and active 2. love this watch even more than both combined! great styling, love the bezel, features, and leather band. great watch!

if you get water damage its not covered under warranty.
i suggest not swimming or showering with the thing (which is 2 big reason i.got the watch )
had mine for under a year.
if you want something that can handle everyday usage and can handle water from swimming, have a great speaker, and can function even with getting banged against things on everyday use.
i do not recommend this watch!!!

i love the watch, but am very disappointed in the battery life (i've gone through all the resetting steps to improve this, and it helped a little). i am also disappointed that when i researched this watch, nowhere did i read you have to have a samsung phone in order to use the ecg feature. so i paid for a watch and am basically told as an iphone user, that i have to also spend money to buy a new phone. the only reason i chose this over an apple watch was because i didn't want to spend as much.

i love this watch. it really does everything i want. it keeps me on my goals and i like the color and style. its light weight and comfortable. i like how it keeps track if mg steps and workout goals. it inspires me to be healthier. i like that you can find your phone quickly with it and that it has a night mode.

nothing bad to say about this product so far. it updates often with great new features and is very easy to use. i would very much recommend for anyone looking for a good active watch.

i love the watch, keeps track of all my health activities. i dont use it for socializing or texting to conserve the battery life. although i do get notifications for emergencies. i could wear it all day and the battery would get below 50% even if iused it while workingout.
the features are wonderful, and i especially loved the disturb feature until it got updated. since the new upgrade a few days in october the battery usage goes fast and the disturb feature doesn't work even if i turn it on, the screen still turns on even when i sleep. the new upgrade has changed everything and when i get home after a 18 hour day the battery is at 35% even with all the features turned off. it is really disappointing because i really liked those features in the watch.
i hope it can get resolved soon.

Great daily companion and watch!

i think this watch is great. just as good as the apple watch in my opinion. the screen is nice looking and sharp. i'm not a runner but i wanted something that looked nice and would help motivate me to workout more. this watch does that. it encourages me to stand up and move and you can select the type of work out you are doing (other than running) and it'll track that. for example, i do hiit videos and it tracked my heartrate, approximate calories burned, etc.
i also like how the watch looks. the round shape looks classy and not overly tech-y. i feel like you could wear this in any occasion. i didnt feel that way with other wrist devices from other manufacturers. thanks for a great product!
